Open Source Java Hobbies Software

Data Crow is an open source collection manager for movies & video (DivX, MP4, MKV, etc.), TV series, books (and eBooks), images, board games, comic books, games & software, and music (MP3 and other audio files). Besides these built-in modules (which you can customise to fit your needs) you can create entirely new ones. Want to catalogue your stamps, equipment, wine, or anything else? Data Crow makes it possible. Your collection is accessible the way you prefer: as a stand-alone desktop application, in server-client mode for shared access across multiple users or devices, via the web client in any browser, or on the go with the Data Crow Reader App. The app synchronises with your Data Crow installation and works fully offline. Private. Offline. Completely personal. The Data Crow way.

An Open Source model rocket simulator.

BBCT is a simple program that allows the user to enter data about baseball cards and search through the collection using limited criteria.

The code of my project

An online database and cross-platform, game-like client where gardeners/farmers (small or large scale) can log their actions and measurements (such as weather, yield, current plant size). Any user can then play it back visually, or play with the data and see a simulation inferred from the knowledge database, or calculate an optimal design within given constraints, inferred from the knowledge available at that time. This is both a tool for playing, in order to entertain and inspire people, as well as a serious feedback and design tool. There will be a user feedback system to value the accuracy of the data. It is allowed to enter and share mock farming data, as long as it's tagged as being fantasy, to exclude it from the analyses. Things like dietary information, tiredness and bio-constructions will be included as well, to improve optimizations of a garden design with (partial) self-sufficiency in mind. The UI will resemble a garden, and can switch to simplified views.

OCM is an easy to use program for managing your geocaches, with the goal of being the Linux equivalent to GSAK. OCM integrates with GPSBabel to support most GPS devices (requires GPSBabel to be installed).

This tool allows you to perform some calculations related to DIY and dosing fertilizers in planted aquariums.
