The BeanFactory Tool is a two-way GUI frontend plugin for editing javadoc custom doclets, such as XDoclet. It is build on a general Doclet editing layer running on Netbeans, JBuilder and Eclipse.

Butterfly is a simple Code Generator using XMI as the input and XSLT templates to generate any type of code. Several templates are provided including EJB, JDO and Struts. Users may use the templates, modify them or create new ones using XSL.

If you can provide a template, it is usually possible to define rules to produce code following the template. The rules themselves use a General Expansion Language (GEL) XML syntax.
