Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Sofia Lema, the founder of Sofia Beauty Studio! My journey with makeup began when I was 23 years old, and pursuing this passion has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I specialize in bridal and event makeup, traveling to different locations to glam my clients and make their special moments truly unforgettable.

What I love most about being a makeup artist is connecting with new people and being part of their most meaningful occasions whether it’s a wedding, prom, photoshoot, or celebration. Every client has their own unique style and vision, and I take pride in bringing that to life through my artistry. Helping others feel confident and beautiful is at the heart of everything I do.

Bridal Makeup

Whether for the bride or her bridesmaids—this service is crafted to highlight each person’s unique features. My goal is to enhance your natural beauty with a flawless, durable look that looks great in photos. Each application is customized to suit your style, skin type, and wedding theme, whether you prefer a soft, romantic effect or a timeless, glamorous appearance. The main aim is to make you feel confident, radiant, and authentically yourself on your special day. I also offer a Wedding Day Touch-Up Service, providing on-site touch-ups before photos, after the ceremony, or during the reception.

Event Makeup

From prom nights to weddings, date nights, and everything in between, when a desired look needs a professional touch. We elevate your look for the occasion. From soft glam to full glam, each application is tailored to enhance your features, outfit, and event, ensuring a polished, long-lasting finish. Camera-Ready Makeup (Photoshoots & Headshots) is optimized for photography, video, and lighting.

Makeup Lesson / One-on-One Coaching

We teach clients how to recreate everyday, glam, or special-event looks on themselves. Ideal for beginners, professionals, and mature clients. Available in-person or virtually. A personalized, hands-on makeup session where you guide the client through step-by-step techniques tailored to their face shape, skin type, lifestyle, and skill level.

Incredible experience with Sofia! She was so prepared, easy to work with, and was just fun to spend the time with. She listened to my (very limited) instructions on how I wanted to look and then ran with it to make me feel and look gorgeous. She was so sweet with my daughter and mother-in-law who spectated the entire session, too. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and will use Sofia again for any occasion or events.
