Good morning.  Today I have another pretty card to share using JustRite Papercraft's February release set called Hello Buttercup along with Reversed Crackle Background.  Here in Maine we have been getting so much snow!!  I am more than ready to see my flowers bloom.

I started my card by creating a sunburst base and using the Reversed Crackle Background along the bottom of the card.  I love the look of a sunburst card and it is really easy to make.  Next I stamped the flowers from Hello Buttercup onto the matching SVG cut file, colored them with Copics and added some orange bead centers.  The sentiment is also included in Hello Buttercup.

JustRite Papercraft December Release Day 3 - Grand Thank You Sentiments Cling Stamps

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to day 3 of JustRite Papercraft's December release.  Today's set is called Grand Thank You Sentiments Cling Stamps.

My card is very simple - I chose a beautiful designer paper as the base.  Next I added a sentiment from Grand Thank You Sentiments Cling Stamps, stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and diecut using JustRite Papercraft Vintage Labels Four.  The sentiment "Thanks" is also included in Grand Thank You Sentiments Cling Stamps and diecut using Spellbinders Charmed I'm Sure die.

JustRite Papercraft April Release Day 1

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to Day 1 of the JustRite April release.  Today's set is called "Floral Thank You" and comes as a cling set.  We all need Thank You cards at some point which makes this set a must-have.

To create my floral image, I colored directly onto the Floral Thank You image using Memento markers (Grape Jelly, Sweet Plum and Bamboo Leaves).  It almost makes the image look like a watercolor.  The sentiment is stamped using Memento Tuexdo Black.   I used a dauber and inked around all of the edges using Memento Dandelion and Cantaloupe.  Most of the layers were diecut using Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics A and B.

Thank You - You're The Best

Good morning.  Welcome to Day 3 of the JustRite Stampers release.  Today JustRite is introducing "Heart To Heart".  This set is a large oval ribbed set with some beautiful border designs and great sentiments.  And don't forget, many of the JustRite stamps are interchangeable which makes your stamps go further.  For my projects I used 2 different sets - Heart To Heart and Friendship Nested Sentiments - they work perfectly together.

I decided to make a tall narrow card for today.  I usually don't make the tall cards but I had this idea for this stamp set in my head so I just went with it!  I like the final results.

I stamped the border 3 times onto light pink cardstock with Memento Rose Bud and diecut using Spellbinders Labels 11.  The sentiment "Thank You" is from the Heart To Heart set, stamped twice with Memento Cottage Ivy and diecut with Spellbinders Long Rectangles.  The sentiment "You're The Best" is from the Friendship Nested Sentiments, stamped with Memento Cottage Ivy and diecut with Spellbinders Long Scallop Rectangles.

Thank You Quilt

Good morning everyone.  Today I decided to create a card following  the great quilt tutorial shown over at Splitcoaststampers.  This was a lot of fun to do.  I have tried the traditional quilting once.  Needless to say I never finished the quilt.  I am an instant gratification kinda girl and quilting does not fit that definition.  I love the look of quilts and appreciate the time and patience that it takes to create - it just is not my thing.  I'll stick to creating "paper quilts".

Since this is a "quilt" I decided to dust off my sewing machine and stitch each quilt square.  For my sentiment, I chose a center from the JustRite "You're So Sweet" set, stamped with Memento London Fog, diecut with Spellbinders Classic Circles, and matted onto Spellbinders Eyelet Squares.

This was really a lot of fun making.  I'm sure that I will be making more in the future.

Good morning everyone!!  I hope everyone survived New Year's Day.  We stayed up to ring in the New Year but then I was sound asleep within 5 minutes.  I'm not a night owl at all.

Today I have a card using a brand new release from JustRite Stampers named " Fancy Frames".  This set is a cling set that begins shipping today.  This cling set is designed to work perfectly with the new JustRite Custom Nested Frame Dies.

The great thing about this particular stamp is the ability to cut and piece several parts of it.  I stamped the image several times using Memento Lilac Posies and Memento Angel Pink then handcut each section out.  The sentiment was stamped onto green cardstock and then pop dotted into the center.

Thank You notecard

Merry Christmas everyone!!!! The big day is finally here. We are enjoying the day with my family. It is so nice to have everyone together in one place. Tomorrow we will be celebrating Christmas with my husband's family. It is nice to be able to do this in 2 seperate days instead of craming everything into 1 day.

Once the presents are opened and everyone has gone home, it is time to send Thank You notes to family & friends for their thoughtfulness. Sharon Johnson is challenging us to create "simple" Thank You notes today. Regardless of if the note is simple or not, it is nice to show people that you appreciate their gifts.

My notecard measures 5" x 5" and is embossed using the Cuttlebug Distressed Stripes embossing folder with a cute loopy border using the Martha Stewart loops border punch.

My sentiment comes from the "Just A Note" designer center set by JustRite Stampers. The border is from the Square Decorative Frame Borders set also by JustRite Stampers. It is so nice to be able to mix and match centers and borders even if they are not the same shapes. Then I diecut it using the Spellbinders Classic Square & Inverted Square Nestabilities.
