Smorgasbord Blog Magazine Weekly Round Up…18th – 24th August. – Wild Gardens, Out and About, 1940s hits, Movie Themes, Phone Safety, Kiribati cuisine, Book Reviews, New releases, Funnies

Welcome to the round up of posts you might have missed this week on Smorgasbord.

I hope you have had a lovely week… I know some of you are preparing for children or grandchildren to go back to school… always a busy time. We are still enjoying warm weather and some sunshine which is great.

During the year I have been taking photographs through the seasons for use with the upcoming Tales from The Irish Garden – The missing Pieces.  This includes the part of the garden we have sowed wild flowers to attract the bees and butterflies…today there were plenty of them enjoying themselves which is such a pleasure to see and to hear.

I have been out and about this week, very unexpectedly and delightfully surprised by a lovely post by Joy Neal Kidney, who has rather elevated my status…. and done a wonderful job of promoting both my books and the blog… I am glowing..

Head over not just because of my part in the post, but the delightful way Joy has put the feature together: Joy Neal Kidney gives me a glow up…

As you know until the summer book fair and the archive series is finished I am sharing a small selection of posts I have enjoyed each week on a page in the menu… the one disadvantage is that you cannot comment but that is fine because I would love you to comment on the bloggers own site.

This week I have added..Liz Gauffreau, Esther Chilton, Laura Lyndhurst, Thomas Wikman, Beth I Didn’t Have my Glasses On, Darlene Foster.

Head over to enjoy their posts...August Blogger Monthly
