Israelis Ordered to Leave Sinai Immediately, Terror Alert

The National Security Council Counter-Terrorism Bureau issued a warning Tuesday afternoon to Israeli citizens to avoid traveling in the Sinai Peninsula. According to the report, intelligence sources received a credible terror alert of an immediate threat of attack by a terror cell operating in Sinai.

"Activity by terrorist elements in the Sinai Peninsula, who are working in order to abduct Israelis raises the possibility that they intend to perpetrate such an abduction in the very near, even immediate, future," said the warning.

Officials emphasized that the intelligence sources for the report were extremely reliable.

This warning is the latest in a host of other alerts warning Israelis against travel in the Sinai Peninsula, where terrorists from Gaza and elsewhere often gather.

Middle East envoy Tony Blair also faced credible threats to his life by Arab terrorists Tuesday morning, suddenly changing his plans to visit Gaza after receiving an intelligence warning from the Israeli government.

The Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) told Associated Press it had received “pinpoint information that Palestinians were planning to attack Blair in Gaza, so the relevant services alerted him to the fact.”

The threat, said the agency, was “specific” and “credible.”

The former British prime minister has been largely responsible for the wealth of economic development funds that have been funneled to the Hamas terrorist-run region since the group seized control of the area in June 2007.

Youssef said that counter-terrorism agents and managers at FBI headquarters often lack basic knowledge about Middle Eastern culture, language and terrorists' ideology. The result is that agents are wasting resources chasing leads that more sophisticated observers would quickly dispense with. The time and energy expended on marginal cases has diverted resources from investigating more substantial threats, he said.

The son of immigrant Christian Egyptians and a decorated counter-terrorism agent, Youssef has long been the highest-ranking Arab American agent in the FBI and one of its few native Arabic speakers. He was passed over for promotions after the Sept. 11 attacks, and filed a lawsuit in 2003 claiming the bureau discriminated against him based on his ancestry.

Deterrence depends on your enemy having cities and a population that can be threatened with obliteration. The problem is that terrorist organizations have neither, and deterrence breaks down as a consequence. Which means that the over-arching aim of the civilized world must be to ensure that they cannot get hold of a nuclear bomb, because that is the only way we can protect ourselves against nuclear terrorism. Germany warns Jewish community of terror threat from Lebanon

German security authorities have issued a warning to the Jewish community of an increased threat of terrorist attack emanating from Lebanon, a senior Jewish official said Sunday. Stefan Kramer, general secretary of the Central Council of German Jews, told Deutsche Presse-Agentur (DPA) the warning had been received more than a week ago, on January 11. He confirmed weekend news reports that increased precautions were being taken. The increased threat was to synagogues and Jewish schools across the country, and not just in Berlin, as was reported earlier, Kramer said. Kramer referred to information from Lebanon and a possible link to the current trial in Dusseldorf of a Lebanese man, Youssefal-Hajj Dib, 23, on charges of attempting to blow up German trains with suitcase bombs in July 2006.

The members of the cell were captured a month ago near Bethlehem. The investigation revealed that the suspects learned to make bombs via the Internet.

Balkan Terrorists Target Euro Police Convention

The 11th European Police Congress, to be held in Berlin on 29-30th January is the target of a Balkan Al Qaeda franchise.

The convention will be inaugurated by Franco Frattini, Vice President of the European Commission, Commissioner for Justice, Freedom and Security. The second item on the agenda is “Global, European and National threats by Terrorists: National Concepts to face the Challenge.”

In a programme note (bottom Programme section) it is advised that one of the speakers, Dr Darko Trifunovic - a maverick young investigator from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Security Studies - will not be able to attend due to “pressure and death threats” made against him by radical groups that are under his investigation. He has decided not to “expose himself and the congress to further danger.”

Dr Darko Trifunovic has been conducting research into the origins, ambitions and operating methods of what he calls “white Al Qaeda”, the home grown branch of the terrorist franchise organization in the various areas of the Balkans.

It first took foothold in Bosnia-Herzegovina after the Western powers in the 90’s saw the influx of Afghan war veterans into the territory as an easy way to support the Bosnian Muslims. Since the Dayton Peace Accord Iranians as well as Saudi Wahhabis have flooded the statelet with funds, over-sized mosques and subversive organizations, one of which has members throughout the Bosniak diaspora in Europe, Canada and the US. One such is CNAB, the center of gravity of the present threats against Trifunovic.

Trifunovic has also found new links between Bosnia and the terrorist attacks of 9/11 and the London and Madrid train bombings. Specifically mentioned are Mohammed Atta, who coordinated the 9/11 outrage, and Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, Bosnian citizenship holder and war veteran, former Al Qaeda ‘Operations Chief’, who - according to Dr Darko Trifunovic - took over the leadership of the Al Qaeda media campaign (’the Committee’) during the planning of the 9/11. Atta’s place of residence was a Bosnian hamlet before launching off to Hamburg and the US for his fatal mission.

With the knowledge of the UN interim governors in Kosovo, Albanian-American radicals were actively recruiting terrorists for ‘the war against America’ prior to the 9/11 attack, of which they had foreknowledge. The UN however, did nothing.

The Foreign Area Officer Association FAOA posits that the Sarajevo based organization, AIO’s (Aktivna Islamska Omladina)[1] “(…) Islamic weekly magazine SAFF [2] and organization’s website have been fronts of radical Islamic preaching, gaining notoriety for publishing interviews with terrorists who have fought against US forces in Iraq and expressing solidarity with the jihadists and suicide bombers in Israel.” FAOA also links the AIO with members throughout the Bosniak diaspora in Europe and the US, one of which is the CNAB, now the center of gravity, threatening Trifunovic.

Muslims don't want peace with Jews in Israel. They just want Israel's land. If Muslims wanted peace with Jews in Israel, 20,000 Islamists in Gaza wouldn't have protested against "Vampire" Bush's visit, nor would they have launched a rocket attack on the local American International School in protest against President Bush's visit, nor would they call on their fellow Muslims to kill Bush, notwithstanding the fact that those Muslims who call for other Muslims to kill Bush are too cowardly to attempt the assassination themselves.

PA security officials expressed concern over threats by Palestinian groups to kill Bush.

"We are taking these threats very seriously," a senior PA security official told The Jerusalem Post. "We have taken several precautionary measures to foil any attempt to target Bush or to disrupt his visit."

Another PA security official accused Hamas of being behind most of the threats against the US leader. "Hamas has turned the Gaza Strip into a safe haven for numerous terrorist groups," he said. "All these groups are operating there under the auspices of Hamas."

Muslims politically identify with other Muslims, which is why there has been a resounding silence in the global Muslim community, where there should have been resounding global condemnation. The silence from the global Muslim community, including the silence from the terrorist front group CAIR, implies tacit approval to kill Jews and tacit approval to assassinate the President of the United States.

The incident occurred as a U.S. Navy cruiser, destroyer and frigate were crossing the strait when they were buzzed by the speedboats, which dropped boxes in the water in front of them.

Al-Qaeda threatens President Bush

Al-Qaida's Adam Gadahn, one of the FBI's Most Wanted Terrorists, is urging his fellow Muslims to meet President Bush with bombs when he visits the Middle East, according to a new video posted on the Internet Sunday.

Although Adam Gadahn is U.S.-born, he dramatically tore up his U.S. passport as part of a symbolic protest against the U.S. in the nearly hour-long hystrionical tape, showing his excessive emotionality and attention-seeking personality disorder.

The release comes just three days before Bush is scheduled to arrive in Israel for a weeklong trip that will also bring him to the West Bank, Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Egypt as part of his push for an Israeli-Palestinian peace agreement ( Fat chance of that ever happening. ) Adam Gadahn said:

"Now we direct an urgent call to our militant brothers in Muslim Palestine and the Arab peninsula ... to be ready to receive the Crusader slayer Bush in his visit to Muslim Palestine and the Arab peninsula in the beginning of January and to receive him not with flowers or clapping but with bombs and booby-trapped vehicles," Gadahn said in Arabic.

I am pleased that Gadahn delineated that there was once an entity known as Muslim Palestine because the fact of the matter is that there was also once a Jewish Palestine. Muslims just like Adam Gadahn rejected the partition when they were offered it, Jews accepted it; now Muslims have regrets, and Jews have Israel. Muslims just like Adam Gadahn started a war with the civilized world, now they must pay the consequences.

Now we learn that two Muslim members of a prison gang in California pleaded guilty Friday to charges of planning to run an “American intifada,” targeting synagogues, U.S. military bases, Los Angeles Airport, Israeli embassies and consulates, and U.S. government sites. The two face sentences of between 20 years in prison on the conspiracy charges, while one could be sentenced to life for a previous crime. The two were members of a prison gang called Jam'iyyat Ul-Islam Is-Saheeh, established specifically to target “enemies of Islam.” According to the FBI, the plot was in advanced stages when the two Muslim phucks were arrested in 2005.

An illegal immigrant from Lebanon who became an agent for the FBI and CIA allegedly used her access to sensitive U.S. government secrets to help her brother-in-law, a suspected major fundraiser for the terrorist group Hizbullah, according to new details concerning a national security breach that emerged Wednesday. In court documents and interviews, federal authorities said Nada Nadim Prouty, 37, illegally accessed top-secret FBI investigative files on five occasions and most likely shared the information with the suspected Hizbullah operative. On Wednesday, prosecutors said Prouty illegally accessed the FBI's Hizbullah investigative files in 2002 and 2003, at a time when she was a Washington, D.C.-based FBI field agent who was not working on Hizbullah cases. At the time, her sister's husband, Talal Khalil Chahine, 51, was under investigation by the FBI in Detroit for suspected ties to Hizbullah.

Authorities now believe Prouty was illegally accessing the FBI files to determine for Chahine and perhaps others what the FBI knew about the group's presence here, and that she accessed an investigative file on Chahine. At the time, Chahine was suspected of raising large sums of money for Hizbullah and of meeting with top Hizbullah leaders in Lebanon. The FBI began investigating Prouty after agents began hearing that Chahine, an influential power broker in Dearborn, had an inside source at the FBI who was feeding him information about its investigations into his activities and into Hizbullah.

Gillian Gibbons, a teacher, 54, is spending her second night in a Sudanese prison, accused of insulting Muhammad. She faces a public lashing or up to six months in prison if found guilty on charges of blasphemy. What did she do? She allowed her students to name a teddy bear "Muhammad." Thousands of Sudanese, many armed with clubs and knives, rallied Friday in a central square and demanded the execution of Gillian Gibbons.

"Shame, shame on the U.K.," protesters chanted.

They called for Gibbons' execution, saying, "No tolerance: Execution," and "Kill her, kill her by firing squad."
