Jewish-Canadian legal expert Professor Irwin Cotler has initiated an international effort to bring Iranian President Ahmadinejad to justice for incitement to genocide. Cotler, a former Canadian justice minister, has already discussed the issue with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, and it is possible that the Canadian statesman, together with Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, will promote this initiative.

Bin Laden Vows to Fight Israel

Osama bin Laden has once again emerged from under his rock and vowed to expand the Muslim holy war to Israel in a new audiotape. The handful of peaceful Muslims around the world will have to confront the fact that bin Laden and his minions regularly justify murdering Jews and other infidels by referring to passages in the Koran and the deeds of Mohammed. Osama bin Laden vowed in an audio tape timed to coincide with Israel's 60th anniversary to continue to fight the Jewish state and its allies in the West. We "will not give up a single inch of Palestine as long as there is one true Muslim on earth," the leader of al-Qaeda said in a message posted on an Islamist website on Friday. Bin Laden has placed growing emphasis on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in recent pronouncements.

Muslims: "We Act According to the Phased Plan. Once We Get Jerusalem, We Will Drive Israelis Out of All of Palestine"

Abbas Zaki, PA representative in Lebanon, told Lebanon's NBN TV on April 9, 2008:

The PLO "has not changed its platform even one iota....When the ideology of Israel collapses, and we take, at least, Jerusalem, the Israeli ideology will collapse in its entirety, and we will begin to progress with our own ideology, Allah willing, and drive them out of all of Palestine."

Film: View Fitna, Stop Islamization, Defend Freedom

UPDATE: Muslims have threatened the lives of the staff at LiveLeak, the film's host server, and as a result of Islam's typical modus operandi to threaten and kill others, LiveLeak pulled "Fitna" from their servers.

One important point must be made. I saw this film and there was nothing in it that we didn't already know about Islam. It showed Islam as it is: bloody, dominant, racist, hateful, and at its core, lethally militaristic and institutionalizing homicide. As Bernie at Planck's Constant so cogently remarks:

Except for the last 60 seconds where we are entreated to stop Islamization, not one word in this documentary came from non-Muslims. Everything that was uttered, everything that was said, everything that was written or displayed were the words of Muslim leaders or everyday Muslims or text directly from the Quran.

Therefore, in the end, we won, and the jihadists lost. Whether we saw the film or not, we already know the truth about Islam and its graphic empirical historical evidence of beheadings, slaughter, disfigurement, betrayals, thievery, murder, piracy, rape, and pillaging, and that historical data will never be erased from our memories. The fact is, there's not a goddamned thing Muslims can do about what is stored in our memories and what is archived in our greatest libraries and data warehouses. Because if Muslims slay those of us who remember, our children will bear witness to their chaos and destruction, and their children's children, and in the end, not one Muslim will be able to sleep well, because guilt and shame and humiliation will always be their grave burden.

One day, we will stand at the graves of our enemies. One day, we will stand and look down at them, rotting, defeated, and dead.

Ahmadinejad, the epitomy of what is wrong with Islam

Ahmadinejad, the misshapen capuchin monkey Islamo-nazi psychopath and his appearance at the UN General Assembly in NY on Monday, September 24, 2007, is possibly the most "shameful moment" in the history of an organization supposedly dedicated to advancing global peace and security. The leader of Iran is a Holocaust denier who also denies Israel's right to exist. It is unfortunate that the US, even if it felt compelled by its treaty obligations to allow Ahmadinejad to attend the UN session, do not also feel compelled to arrest him under the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will not press his plan -- just denied by New York City Police for security reasons -- to visit Ground Zero in New York City, he tells 60 MINUTES' Scott Pelley in an exclusive interview conducted today in Iran. The Iranian leader says he's "amazed" and skeptical that most Americans view his visit there as insulting as his intention was only to show respect. The interview will be broadcast on 60 MINUTES, Sunday Sept. 23 (7:00-8:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS television Network.

An excerpt from the interview follows:

PELLEY: Mr. President, do you intend to press your request to visit the World Trade Center site?

AHMADINEJAD: Well, it was included in my program. If we have the time and the conditions are conducive, I will try to do that.

PELLEY: But the New York Police Department and others do not appear to want you there. Do you intend to go there anyway?

AHMADINEJAD: Well, over there, local officials need to make the necessary coordinations. If they can't do that, I won't insist.

PELLEY: Sir, what were you thinking? The World Trade Center site is the most sensitive place in the American heart, and you must have known that visiting there would be insulting to many, many Americans.

AHMADINEJAD: Why should it be insulting?

PELLEY: But the American people, sir, believe that your country is a terrorist nation, exporting terrorism in the world. You must have known that visiting the World Trade Center site would infuriate many Americans.

AHMADINEJAD: Well, I'm amazed. How can you speak for the whole of the American nation?

PELLEY: Well, the American nation--

AHMADINEJAD: You are representing a media and you're a reporter. The American nation is made up of 300 million people. There are different points of view over there.

Rothman-Kirk Resolution Passes: House Calls on UN to Charge Iranian President with Violating the Genocide Convention and UN Charter

Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed Congressman Steve Rothman's (D-NJ) resolution urging the United Nations (UN) Security Council to charge Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad with violating the 1948 Genocide Convention and the UN Charter. To join the UN, Iran agreed to abide by both accords, but Ahmadinejad has violated both by publicly calling for Israel to be "wiped off the map."

Rothman's bipartisan Resolution (H.Con.Res.21), which he introduced with Rep. Mark Kirk (R-IL), passed by a vote of 411 to 2.

"When the leader of an armed nation such as Iran calls for the destruction of a fellow member state of the United Nations, the UN must prosecute and punish him. It is my hope that this resolution will effectively increase pressure on the United Nations to hold Iranian President Ahmadinejad accountable for his genocidal words and prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons," said Rothman.

Ahmadinejad has repeatedly and publicly called for Israel to be 'wiped off the map.' Yet, the 1948 Genocide Convention not only prohibits genocide, but also prohibits 'direct and public incitement to commit genocide.' It also provides that no one is above the law. People advocating genocidal crimes shall be punished whether they are constitutionally responsible rulers, public officials or private individuals.

Further, Article 2, Section 4 of the United Nations charter - to which Iran has agreed - requires all UN member states to 'refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state.'

H.Con.Res.21 makes it clear that the U.S. Congress sees Ahmadinejad's statements as violating both the letter and spirit of these international pacts. H.Con.Res.21 had strong bipartisan support leading up to today's vote, with103 co-sponsors, including 57 Democrats and 46 Republicans.

"The prohibitions against genocidal hate speech against nations and peoples exist for a reason," said Congressman Rothman. "No one heeded the danger of Adolf Hitler's hateful calls for the death of the Jewish people and six million of them were killed by Hitler's followers."

Congressman Kirk has pointed out that: "In the past, dictators often tell us what crimes they will commit long before they strike. If we learn from that lesson, we will take early action against the Iranian leader who has told us that he hopes to murder many."
Reps. Rothman and Kirk sit on the House Appropriations Committee's Subcommittee on State, Foreign Operations, and Related Agencies, which oversees U.S. spending on foreign aid and the activities of the U.S. State Department.

Moves to Charge Ahmadinejad with Incitement to Genocide

From Financial Times: A 68-page study produced by the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs and the International Association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists argues that Iranian President Ahmadinejad's declaration that "Israel should be wiped off the map" is part of a hate campaign punishable under international law.

Remarks by Ahmadinejad, including one in which he reportedly questioned whether Zionists were human beings, "constitute direct and public incitement to genocide," the study alleges. "While the Hutus in Rwanda were equipped with machetes, Iran, should the international community do nothing to prevent it, will soon acquire nuclear weapons," it notes.

Dore Gold, a former Israeli ambassador to the UN, said that while "most people think of [legal proceedings against] genocide in terms of setting up tribunals after the crime has been committed," the challenge was to stop genocide before it begins. "What specifically can be done? Let the Security Council meet and discuss the issue," he said.
