Summary: This is what he has spent his whole life not searching for because he hadn't been able to remember it.
Notes/Warnings: A huge thanks goes to my lovely betala_dissonance for looking over this even though she has no idea who the characters are. ♥
This can actually be gen or slash; it's kind of open to interpretation. I just went ahead and categorized it as slash because that's what I meant for it to be when I wrote it. They just weren't quite cooperating with me.
