Strange post title, eh? It’s because this is the 46,000th post on the Slope of Hope.
But, Tim, you may be heard to say, you’ve said there are over 50,000 posts! Well, that’s true, my officious friend, but in the early days of Slope I ran this site on a couple of different platforms (Blogger and Typepad, if memory serves) so those aren’t included. In any case, hoorah, here we are, and on a morning in which (thank God) the /ES rallied and then got repelled. Trust me, this was important.
Not a bad day!
Yesterday was odd, because the market was broadly lower, but my own 100% short portfolio only went up a fraction of a percent. Today is better, because once again the market is broadly lower but my all-short portfolio is down more than the market is up, which is obviously my goal.
Here are all my shorts from the watch list page, and the handful of green positions are actually NEW shorts acquired earlier at higher prices. 100% of my positions are profitable.
