8 – Bit Games we’ve made

When I was a kid I was obsessed with the ZX Spectrum and would have loved to have been able to make games for it, there were no online tutorials & YouTube guides back then! Decades later, my son is the age I was then and for a bit of fun during lockdown 2021 we looked into making some games. You can download these games from our Itch page, we even have a couple of games I made for the c64 back in the 80s.

The wonderful folks at Phoenixware have helped me fulfil a lifelong ambition to release a ZX Spectrum game on a real tape that you can play on a real ZX Spectrum.

Break Space Magazine

Break Space is a magazine, written by passionate writers who love the ZX Spectrum, it covers as many brand new Spectrum releases as is humanly possible, we also have news, interviews and special features and even have type-ins of real games, just like the old days!
