A skill file (SKILL.md) is a plain-text document that teaches AI tools how you think and work. It has structured metadata at the top (your name, when to use it, what it covers) and your step-by-step methodology in the body. Any tool that accepts text (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, and others) can read and follow it. The format follows the open AgentSkills specification, so there is no lock-in to any single tool.
How long does the process take?
Under 5 minutes. Paste your process docs, answer 2-3 follow-up questions about the gaps, and Raptor handles the structuring.
Do I need any technical knowledge?
Not at all. The interview is a normal conversation about the work you already do. You talk, we structure. No coding, no templates, no special formatting required.
