A rose is not just a rose. 
It can have a soothing sweet sent. 
It can be rich in color.
Bright.
Or soft.
A rose has petals.
Lots of petals.
Fresh young petals.
Beautifully colored petals.
Petals to play with.
Petals to admire.
Roses make me happy.
They give a meaning to life.

Starting a new project

It started like this ...

And at the moment it looks like this.

The underground is silk, the colored squares are my first dyed cottons. The pink and red threads have also been dyed and are wastes from the squares. 

Words wander in me while working on this piece. Connection. Relationships. Friendships. Nature. Love. Hope.
