AI is changing more than how businesses operate. It's changing where value is created.   As organisations race to adopt AI, much of the conversation focuses on technology. But technology alone will not determine who succeeds.   The organisations that create enduring value will be those that can turn technological potential into real-world impact. In an AI-driven world, competitive advantage will increasingly depend not just on what technology can do, but on how people and organisations harness it.   As our Group CEO Kuan Moon Yuen shared, “Our vision of AI includes HI, for human intelligence and CI, for culture intelligence. AI provides speed and scale. HI brings judgement, accountability and empathy while CI helps people embrace new ways of working, build trust and adapt to change."   This philosophy is reflected in how we embed AI across the Group while investing in the people who will use it.   We are embedding intelligence into our networks, enterprise platforms, customer channels and digital infrastructure to enhance customer experiences, network operations and business processes. Through capabilities across Nxera, NCS Group and RE:AI (Singtel), we help enterprises and governments adopt, scale and unlock value from AI.    Beyond equipping our people with AI fundamentals, we are creating opportunities for them to apply, experiment and learn from one another, building a culture where people and technology can thrive together.   As AI becomes more accessible, the real differentiator will be how effectively organisations can harness it to create new and lasting value.   Read Moon's full FY2026 Annual Report message: https://lnkd.in/gX5ubzij

Singtel's first quarter FY2027 underlying net profit – the basis for the Group’s core dividends – rose 21% to S$831 million, driven by regional associates airtel and AIS as well as operating companies NCS Group, Optus and Digital InfraCo. Net profit was down 72% to S$818 million mainly due to exceptional gains of S$2.20 billion from the partial Airtel stake sale and Intouch-Gulf Energy merger last year. Operating company EBIT grew 10%, reflecting the improved performance of NCS, Optus and Digital InfraCo and a strong Australian Dollar, partially offset by weakness in Singtel Singapore.   Group CEO Kuan Moon Yuen said, “We had a strong start to the year, reflecting the consistent and disciplined execution of our Singtel28 plan despite heightened macroeconomic and geopolitical uncertainty. Underlying earnings continued to grow, supported by sustained momentum in NCS, Optus and Digital InfraCo and robust contributions from our regional associates particularly Airtel and AIS. Operating Company EBIT was above guidance. While Singtel Singapore continues to face pricing pressures, it remains focused on executing its tri-brand strategy (Singtel, Gomo, Hi!) to serve different customer segments. We are beginning to reap contributions from our new growth investments in Digital InfraCo with our data centre arm Nxera seeing good growth in contracted capacity in Singapore and the region from strong customer demand for AI and cloud. Our AI cloud service RE:AI (Singtel) is also set to scale as sovereign AI gains in importance among government agencies and businesses. We will continue to execute with discipline and create long-term value for our shareholders through prudent, proactive capital management and our proven asset recycling strategy." #Singtel #SingtelResults

What began as a student challenge is fast becoming a platform where young people apply technology and creativity to make play more accessible for children with disabilities. Last week, we had the pleasure of meeting 12 talented teams at the second Singtel x LionsForge hackathon, organised in partnership with our friends at LionsForge and Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore (CPAS) East. The competition attracted more than triple last year's submissions, welcoming 111 teams of participants from primary and secondary schools, junior colleges, Institutes of Higher Learning and the Special Education community. Innovators and engineers aged 10 to 18 were challenged to build an inclusive carnival game using assistive technology. Before developing their ideas, the teams spent time with special education teachers to gain insights on the children they were designing for. From tactile and sound-based games for those with visual impairment, to interactive challenges that support hand-eye coordination for those with cerebral palsy, the teams impressed with their thoughtful solutions that make play more accessible and inclusive. A huge congratulations to this year’s winners: ·       Team Racket Bros (Students from Nanyang Primary School, Zhenghua Primary School and Maris Stella Primary School) ·       Team EJSY (Volunteers from Salvage Garden Makerspace) ·       Team TechAble Warriors (Students from ITE College East) Selected concepts will also be refined and fabricated before they’re featured at our Singtel Carnival in October this year, for children with special needs to experience and enjoy. It's inspiring to see so many young changemakers using technology to build more inclusive experiences. We're glad to support them through this platform and help inspire a generation that puts accessibility and inclusion at the heart of good design. #Singtel #Accessibility #Innovation

Singtel Group CEO, Kuan Moon Yuen, recently joined the panel discussion, "Boardroom Strategies in a Fractured World: Investing, Operating and Winning in ASEAN", at the ASEAN Conference 2026. Drawing on Singtel's more than three decades of experience across ASEAN, Moon shared perspectives on how businesses can succeed in the region and the strategic choices ASEAN will need to make as AI reshapes the global economy.   On balancing a regional vision with market-specific strategies, Moon noted that while ASEAN is often viewed as a single market, each country presents unique opportunities and challenges. He highlighted Singtel's long-standing partnerships with operators such as AIS, Telkomsel and Globe Telecom, stressing that trust remains critical to succeeding across diverse markets and advancing regional integration.   Regarding AI risks, Moon drew on Singtel's role across the AI value chain as an adopter, provider and enabler to underscore a key regional challenge: ASEAN's relatively low data-centre capacity will limit its ability to keep pace with other markets like the US and Europe as AI adoption accelerates. He noted that continued investment in digital infrastructure, connectivity and AI readiness will be critical if the region is to strengthen its long-term competitiveness.   In his wrap-up, Moon identified two priorities for ASEAN: swifter integration to reduce barriers to regional business and strengthen ASEAN as a unified market, and preserving the region's neutrality and cohesion amid rising protectionism. These points reflect what Singtel has learned over more than three decades in ASEAN: lasting success depends on deep partnerships built on trust, as well as continued investment in the digital infrastructure needed to support the region's AI ambitions.   #ASEANConference2026 #ASEAN #AI #DigitalInfrastructure #RegionalGrowth #Leadership #Singtel

Singtel Group has fielded marching contingents in Singapore's National Day Parade since 1976, making us one of the Parade's longest-serving corporate participants. Our latest behind-the-scenes video explores how this tradition has been passed from one generation of employees to the next and why it remains a meaningful expression of Singtel's connection to Singapore.   Participating in NDP is about more than marching in the Parade. It is a chance to celebrate the nation's birthday alongside fellow Singaporeans, showcase our contributions to nation-building and reaffirm our commitment to Singapore's future.   The longevity of Singtel's participation is made possible by colleagues across the Group who volunteer each year to represent our company. This year's team is led by Florence K. who heads Small Medium Business Channels. She is Singtel's first female contingent leader and her leadership reflects how employees from different backgrounds continue to shape and strengthen Singtel's story.   In the video, Group Chief People and Sustainability Officer Aileen Tan, NCS CEO Sam Liew and Florence share what taking part in NDP means to them, and why Singtel continues to take part year after year.   Happy Birthday, Singapore. #NationalDay2026 #MajulahSingapura #NDPcontingent #SmartNation #Innovation #EmpowerEveryGeneration #NDP #SG61

Every generation has played a part in building a stronger foundation for the next and this includes investing in the infrastructure and capabilities that have helped us dream bigger. As AI reshapes economies and societies, we are entering another defining chapter.
