Congratulations to #ArthrexAthlete Isabella Rawl on winning the 28th Tennessee Women’s Open! 🏆 After a thumb injury sidelined her during her junior season at Clemson University, Isabella underwent a UCL repair with the #Arthrex InternalBrace™ ligament augmentation procedure using SwiveLock® anchor technology. She returned to pain-free competition just two months later, thanks to her surgeon Timothy Brown, MD, using Arthrex #innovation. Today, Isabella is competing as an amateur, earning Low Amateur honors at the 28th Tennessee Women’s Open, and continuing to pursue her goals both on and off the course. Read Isabella’s full story at https://lnkd.in/eMmVYjdi. #Sponsored The InternalBrace surgical technique is intended only to augment the primary repair/reconstruction by expanding the area of tissue approximation during the healing period and is not intended as a replacement for the native ligament. The InternalBrace technique is for use during soft tissue-to-bone fixation procedures and is not cleared for bone-to-bone fixation. The use of this device may not be suitable for patients with insufficient or immature bone. The physician should carefully assess bone quality before performing orthopedic surgery on patients who are skeletally immature. The use of this medical device and the placement of hardware or implants must not bridge, disturb or disrupt the growth plate.

“Traditionally as surgeons we have not had many tools to help patients with back pain,” said Megan Finneran, DO. “Now, I finally have a way to help my patients who, in many cases, have no other option. I had zero endoscopic training in residency and Arthrex has provided amazing support with hands-on training so I can feel confident stepping into the operating room.” Congratulations Dr. Finneran, Sarah Bush Lincoln Hospital, for completing your first ultra-minimally invasive endoscopic spine cases and helping advance the field of spine surgery! Arthrex Spine is committed to advancing ultra-minimally invasive spine solutions, supported by an extensive education infrastructure to ensure that surgeons are trained on the safe and effective use of our products and techniques. A broken leg could have ended Bowie's story before it truly began. When the young sloth bear fractured her femur, her future was uncertain. Serious leg fractures in bears and other large wild animals are notoriously difficult to treat, and many animals do not survive because of the challenges associated with recovery and healing. Fortunately, Bowie received the specialized care she needed. Veterinary orthopedic surgeon Duane Robinson, DVM, PhD, DACVS-SA, repaired her fracture using the #Arthrex Vet Systems OrthoLine™ fracture management system, giving the playful cub a chance at a full recovery. After months of healing alongside her mother, Bowie is back where she belongs, climbing, playing, and wrestling with mom in her habitat at Seattle's Woodland Park Zoo. Arthrex is proud to support veterinary teams and surgeons who help make remarkable outcomes like this possible.
