Sobi is a global biopharma company unlocking the potential of breakthrough innovations, transforming everyday life for people living with rare diseases. At our Capital Markets Day (CMD) earlier this year, under the headline ‘Bringing brilliant ideas to life and building the next chapter’ we gave an update on the company strategy and outlined a new mid-term outlook, aiming to achieve SEK 55bn revenue by 2030, while building a resilient platform for sustained growth beyond 2030. “Sobi today is a stronger, more global and more scientifically driven company,” said Guido Oelkers at the CMD. “We have delivered on our commitments, built a diversified, robust foundation for future growth, and are entering the next phase of expansion with multiple launches and compelling opportunities to unlock growth well beyond 2030.” Learn more about our journey and where we are heading here: https://www.sobi.com #Sobi #RareDiseases #BringingBrilliantIdeastoLife

Autoinflammatory and autoimmune disorders: what’s the difference? Autoinflammatory and autoimmune conditions are two different types of disorders that involve the immune system. Autoinflammatory disorders cause inflammation that may occur without an obvious trigger or infection. These conditions are caused by genetic mutations that affect the innate immune system. In autoinflammatory disorders, the body’s immune system is activated inappropriately, and this leads to excessive inflammation and tissue damage. Autoimmune disorders occur when the immune system mistakes the body’s own healthy tissues as foreign and attacks them. These diseases can affect any part of the body and can have a wide range of symptoms. Only 5 % of rare diseases have approved medicines. The need for innovative treatments is, therefore, high. We bring new treatments to market, expand our existing products into new indications and regions where they address unmet medical need, and gather real-world evidence for available products. Our R&D is focused on late-stage research within the areas of Haematology and Immunology, and adjacent areas. A strong pipeline and expanded access are key elements of our commitment to patients. For people living with haemophilia in Trinidad and Tobago, the path to diagnosis and treatment has been given a major boost with help from the World Federation of Hemophilia / Fédération mondiale de l'hémophilie (WFH) Humanitarian Aid Program. But access to potentially life‑changing treatment is just the start of the transformational journey for helping children and adults on the island nation. In a recent visit to the Caribbean country hosted by the WFH Humanitarian Aid Program, Sobi and Sanofi representatives met with local healthcare professionals and families who have already started to benefit from the WFH program. Watch the video in the post below to hear directly from healthcare professionals, people living with haemophilia and their families in Trinidad and Tobago about the impact the WFH Humanitarian Aid Program is having on haemophilia care across the country. At Sobi, we are proud to be part of the WFH Humanitarian Aid Program along with Sanofi, helping people with haemophilia get better access to treatment and sustainable care. #Sobi #Haemophilia #BleedingDisorder #TreatmentForAll
Nikolai was only three months old when he experienced his first bleed. It took time to identify the cause, but receiving the correct diagnosis opened the door to life-changing treatment and care. Early diagnosis can change the course of a person’s life, opening the door to the care and treatment they need.
