Scottish Alliance for Geoscience, Environment and Society (SAGES)
SAGES pools world-leading expertise from across Scotland’s research base, creating an multi-disciplinary alliance at the forefront of earth, environmental and societal research.
We are a partnership between the Universities of Aberdeen, British Geological Survey (Scotland), Edinburgh, Glasgow, Heriot Watt, Highlands and Islands, St Andrews, Scottish Association for Marine Science and West of Scotland.
SAGES goals are: 1. Support and promote SAGES members' research to further our national and international reputation 2. Enhance learning experience and provide opportunities for graduate students and early career researchers.
SAGES is a member of Research Innovation Scotland.
SAGES serves to promote inter-disciplinary collaboration between research partners, and to act as a knowledge broker between research originators and ultimate users and beneficiaries of research.
