Hi guys, just checking in to say everything is fine with me. No concrete information on what caused the explosion in Tel Aviv, everyone at work is mostly checking in with family and refreshing news sites and trying to figure out how much to worry and making morbid jokes.

...and okay, worrying a little. Everyone's on their phones. Guess we're all gonna be a little distracted for the upcoming hours until we get more information and check in with everyone.

Okay. This is fun.

I'm really glad you're okay, and I hope that everyone you know is also okay.

I hope so too... it's hard to keep track, really, of all of the Tel Avivians I know and where they work and study and might have been on a Wednesday noon, so I'm just working under the assumption that everyone's fine unless I hear otherwise. I'm sure things will become clearer in the upcoming days/hours...

Ha, it's fine for now, but I hope it doesn't end up turning into a habit :-)

A friend who has lots of family in Tel Aviv was in school with me today and she saw the news and went running out to try and call and make sure everything was okay with her sister and kids. I have no way to check lj/dw at work, but it was VERY NICE to get home to reassurances. I hope you don't need to make it a habit!
