10 months old!!

How can my baby be 10 months old? She is at such a fun age! My favorite things: huge smiles, belly laughs as we chase her, kisses, splashes in the bath, a good sleep schedule (2 naps and sleeps through the night most of the time- not too shabby), sitting in the high chair for up to an hour with cheerios and a measuring cup. Not so fun things: bruised forehead (she's a busy one), her ability to crawl and stand up to my leg until I pick her up, her ability to find anything that's a choking hazard, and the fact that she's growing up way too fast! I love my girl!

Valentine's Weekend

We had such a fun Valentine's Weekend. Rich or I have been gone the last couple Saturdays so it was great to have a day all together. It started with Nate's first soccer game where he did so well. Last year he was more excited about picking grass and having fun with his friends. This year he seemed to understand it a lot better. He did throw in a few karate moves here and there, but never on other kids, so I figure that's fine :)
Then we worked on teaching Nate to ride a two-wheeler, which of course Tanner had to try. I made a Valentine's breakfast, and that night we put the kids to bed early and Rich made me dinner by smoking some delicious brisket! He also surprised me with the gift of taking dance lessons with me- which if anyone knows Rich understands what a sacrifice this is for him. We're bringing a little "Dancing with the Stars" to Frisco!

February already?

Can it really be February already? Time is going by way to quickly with these little ones. Kennedy is now 9 months old, crawling all over the place, pulling up on things, loving her big girl food, and continuing to melt all of our hearts. She truly is the happiest, easiest, and most fun little girl.

Tanner is really starting to come out of his shell lately. For the first two weeks of Jan. he cried when I took him to Sunbeams and then had to sit with Nate's class. Today he told me he wanted to go there all by himself (of course I followed close behind) and he ran right in to sit with his class. He looked so big! He is my singer and sings and leads music all day!

Nate is still so full of energy! This boy never stops. He really is the "leader" of whatever he does (he likes to say the word "boss" but we're trying to change that). He is so sharp and never misses a beat- so he definitely keeps us on our toes! I still feel such a bond with him since he's my first- something about those two years when it was just him.

Me and my boys. Tanner wore a tie for the first time to church today and looked so handsome. Don't let the innocent face fool you- one o'clock chuch does on number on this kid! Sacrament is not pretty!
