Remaykit is a fashion show giving a platform for makers and designers who have remade or upcycled garments.
As part of Wandsworth Arts Fringe for 2025, we will showcase the diverse talents of the people of Wandsworth, of varying cultural backgrounds and abilities, who have reimagined and repurposed clothes to give them a second life. The show will demonstrate the skill and passion of sewers, knitters and menders who believe in the positive impact that mending and repairing clothes has on reducing landfill, while knowing a creative hobby can be good for health and wellbeing.
We hope to inspire people to learn from the imagination of others and take part in their own journey in reimagining, repurposing and redressing their own style.

Each garment will have a story behind it, and we’ll be finding out why that garment was special to the re-maker. At the end of the show, you will be able to mingle with the designers and makers and pick up tips on re-making items.
The show will be fun, innovative and fully inclusive.
This is a volunteer led project organised by members of the local community for the community.
