I saw that the agent Ann Rose was added to the new agency and I have an outstanding query with her. But I also have an outstanding query with Cathie! Quite a predicament. I sent them both a quick message just to be sure on what to do.

Rejected strictly on the word count being far too short at 55,000 words for a new adult novel. In my research I found the range listed from 50-90,000 words, so I thought this length was appropriate, but apparently not for this agent.
