This is going to sound funny, but I actually forgot to write the poem for last week’s Malaysian Writers FB group poetry prompt. But I still want to write it anyway, so here it is. 🙂  The word prompt: ‘mistake’.
Mistakes
A word too sharp
Cutting too deep
Why did she harp
Into his mind seep
Forsaken love
Words hurt too deep
Sad tale they wove
Made her but weep
Daily tears poured
What to live for?
Honey had soured
Darling no more
