WordPress Origin Story

My journey with WordPress started unexpectedly.

At the time, I was working as a Customer Happiness Engineer for a software company while also contributing as a Front-End Developer. My role involved helping customers to solve technical issues, troubleshooting websites, and ensuring they had the best possible experience with our products.

Many of the websites I supported were built with WordPress. What started as troubleshooting plugin conflicts, theme issues, and website errors quickly sparked my curiosity about how WordPress worked behind the scenes.

As I spent more time solving WordPress-related problems, I found myself going beyond support tasks. I began exploring themes, plugins, customization techniques, and the architecture that makes WordPress so flexible and powerful.

The more I learned, the more I enjoyed working with it.

What impressed me most was how WordPress could serve almost any purpose—from personal blogs and business websites to eCommerce stores and large-scale web platforms. Its open-source philosophy and vibrant global community made it even more inspiring.

Over time, my role evolved from troubleshooting websites to building them.

I started developing WordPress themes, customizing user experiences, and creating solutions tailored to different business needs. What began as fixing issues eventually turned into designing and developing WordPress themes from the ground up.

Since then, I have developed WordPress themes, each project helping me to deepen my understanding of web development, user experience, performance optimization, and the flexibility of the WordPress ecosystem.

One of the things I love most about WordPress is that it empowers both developers and non-technical users. It provides the freedom to create almost anything while maintaining accessibility for people from all backgrounds.

Looking back, I never set out to become a WordPress developer.

I simply started by helping people solve problems.

That curiosity led me from customer support and troubleshooting to theme development, website building, and becoming part of a global community dedicated to making the web more open and accessible.

Today, WordPress remains a significant part of my professional journey, and I am grateful for the opportunities, knowledge, and community it has introduced me to along the way.
