    My name is James Kiarie, but you can call me Jim. I am a passionate WordPress Support specialist, actively volunteering at both the WordPress.org and WordPress.com forums.

    I have been working with WordPress since 2018, starting with WordPress.com and transitioning to WordPress.org in 2019. Throughout this time, I have completed several projects focused on technical fixes, design, and a bit of development.

    I love the WordPress ecosystem and always enjoy being a part of its community🙂.

    WordPress Origin Story

    I started working with WordPress in November 2019 when I created my blog. Initially, I used WordPress.com before moving to WordPress.org. This experience introduced me to the world of WordPress, where I learned by troubleshooting errors, optimising site speed, recovering from being hacked, and improving my SEO skills.

    I am proud of the immense knowledge I have gained since then. Fast forward to today, and I have created many other WordPress sites. I continue to learn, help others, and code.

    • Configured Cloudflare DNS records (A, CNAME, MX, TXT), page rules, and firewall settings; managed SSL certificate
    provisioning and renewal to ensure continuous secure operation.
    • Hardened WordPress installations against security threats using Wordfence: malware scanning, brute-force protection,
    real-time IP blocking, and security audit remediation.
    • Built and customised WordPress sites using child themes, custom hooks (actions/filters), CPTs etc.
