WordPress Origin Story

I started building with WordPress in 2010 and never looked back. What began as client sites and custom themes turned into a deep focus on plugin development and the WordPress ecosystem. Over the years I’ve built products that have served 31.5+ billion popup views across hundreds of thousands of websites, contributed to WordPress Core and Meta, organized WordCamps, and built a company around open-source WordPress tooling. I’m still here because WordPress remains the most impactful platform for putting software into the hands of real people.
