I am, first and foremost, a follower of Jesus Christ. My current role is that of home educator, and in this I am hugely inspired by Charlotte Mason’s work – my own educational practices find their root in hers.
As a British home educator operating in an online context often dominated by American voices, I hope that my ramblings and resources might bless anyone who finds themselves in need of similar solutions.

A key factor in Charlotte Mason’s approach is the role of the Holy Spirit as the true educator of ours souls, which she comes back to again and again in her work, most notably in The Great Recognition.
Pneuma means ‘breath’ or ‘spirit’ in Ancient Greek, and in a Christian context is usually used to refer to the Holy Spirit.
The site logo is a take on the PNEU symbol of a skylark in flight and song…my own version is a dove, again to represent the Holy Spirit as central, which I feel is especially key to reiterate in the present climate.
