I love it when a story grabs me in the beginning and won't let go! It's detrimental to my sleep for sure, however, well worth it. This book and series has me wanting more. The entire idea about "Safe Haven" is about people's journeys and how they handle challenges. I need to read about good people. It gives me hope and reminds me I should be more patient and kind. A good book is priceless and this is one of them. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Chelsey was driving down a country road and, on her way to her cousin's farm, sees a pickup in the distance where it did not belong. A phone call later and life gets complicated for Chelsey (or should I say more complicated). I love the books of The Haven series. You can pick up any of them and each story is complete (but more fun when read or reread in the series). Each man is former military and protective, each woman is determined and strong in her own right. I get warm vibes with each book.

Joel and Chelsea are thrown together when a body is found on Timbers land. She saw something she wasn’t supposed to see and now she’s someone is after her. They get closer as the danger gets more deadly. “As if you need a reason, when you can call me anytime, and you know it,” she scoffed, then laughed. “Listen to us.” This was a fantastic edition to the Haven series with suspenseful craziness around every corner.
