Anything goes!

It's time for a new theme over at
and this fortnight Sandie has gone with
anything goes theme!!
So no excuses, come and join in.

For my tag I have used Framed Florets
at the bottom of my tag, watercoloured using my pencils and
blender pen. I stamped the flowers twice so I could 3d them.
The background has been coloured with pencils and wink of stella.
I add a piece of the dsp from Fitting Florets and then stamped
the sentiment in black.
I finished with some pool party ribbon.

We had a lovely day with the family dropping in for dessert.
The youngest Grandson was Count Dracula,
cutest one ever lol.
Lots of fireworks going off throughout the evening
but other than that it was thankfully quiet!!

Night in Bethlehem Christmas card

My card today is for a special lady and we always exchange Christmas cards every year.
She is a very religious person so I like to go down that route for her card.

This one uses a retired set called
Night in Bethlehem.
Definitely a set I will hold onto forever.
I used night of navy, daffodil delight and soft suede inks
I water coloured the yellow areas for a washed out effect
and finished with some stars and sparkle.

Stamping Sensations midway post

It's time for our midway inspiration post at
I have made a water coloured tag with pearl raindrops.

Here is how I made my tag
1. cut piece of watercolour card 4" x 2 1/2" and punch a tag top.
Trim off excess from both corners.
2. Give your tag a wash with a water brush,
then using Granny Apple Green ink pad for the grass and
Coastal Cabana for the sky,
either sponge over your tag or use a brush.
I flicked upward with the green to give a grassy look.
3. Stamp the stem and leaves using Garden Green ink pad.
Stamp the flower base in powder pink and the head in lovely lipstick
over the top of it onto whisper white card and cut out.
4. Stamp sentiment in Garden Green onto tag.
5. Add flower head using dimensionals and raindrops using pearls.
6. Finish with a piece of ribbon for the tag top.

I hope you get time to join in. Just be sure to use those stamps!!

Snow couple!

Happy Monday!

I think this might be my final Christmas card!!
I am so well organised this year, thanks to Stampin' Up!
This is the Christmas card design I will be sending out to my customers this year.
I created it by stamping the Snow couple, covering them in masking fluid
and then flicking some masking fluid over the sky area to create snow.
When that dried I brushed the sky area with water then washed over with some
navy ink, adding more water where needed.
I then removed the fluid, added the stars and inked round the edges.
The snow couple has been coloured with watercolour pencils and finished
with a bit of wink of stella for that much needed sparkle.
I then stamped the sentiment and mounted the whole piece onto my card.
