Spring Flowers

It's the second week of Valerie's theme Spring Flowers over at

This week I used two stamp sets.
Sweet Songbirds for the branches, leaves and small flowers
and Timeless Arrangements for the grass and flowers below.
I added some stencilled clouds to the background
and coloured the flowers using my blends.

I hope you get time to join us!! If you have an end piece of card on your desk
then why not stamp some little flowers and come and share with us.

Scrappy Friday

This week I have been using up some scraps of card from my Brights pack.
I do hold on to my scraps, probably a little too much lol.

But it's always nice to get a background from them and
this one is super easy.
You can watch my video HERE.
During the video I give a few more suggestions for this type of background.

I used a lovely bundle called Timeless Arrangements and a stamp set
called Biggest Wish to finish my card but this background
would work for most occasions.

I used die cuts.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Chocolate gift idea

My tutorial today is some gifts for my shoppers this month.
With Sale-a-bration! just started I have been lucky enough
to have a few lovely customers shopping already so I thought
I would make a start on their thank you gifts.

I got these lovely long bars of chocolate and dressed them up for posting.
They really are nice looking when finished.
You can get these bars in B & M stores if you fancy having a go.

You can watch my video here

We have spent the morning trying to get our heating hub working.
Have had to order a new one!
Our roofer has returned to finished his bits off, finally!!
Only took his 5 1/2 months. 😂
I am sure that makes us the most patient couple ever!!

Why cut one!!

I had a quick card making session and put these
cards together. They are a joy fold card and rather than making
one at a time I went for 3 at a time.
Worked out to be a great time saver and paper saver!!

I used a retired set of papers, just flipping one section to give me
a different look but so quick to cut all the card and papers in one go.
The stamp is from a lovely set called Biggest Wish.

We are off to our Niece's wedding today in Dungannon.
About half an hour's drive so not too bad.
Hoping the rain stays away!

Spot the circle!!

My cards today were made using a circle punch, really I did!
I have a video over in my shop page if you are interested.
It was a fun technique and one I haven't used before
and it came about because the lovely Carol sent me a video link
which clicked my brain into action for this design.
I will give the cards a try Carol as they were such a great idea
and I am sure Mary from our group, did a few cards using that technique too.

I have used the gorgeous Countryside Inn papers along with Timeless
Arrangements bundle and a 2 3/8" circle punch.

Roofers are back again, only the second time this week💩
but at least they are here.
My son and daughter in law are taking us out to Belfast
this evening for some entertainment and we are both
looking forward to getting out of the house for a while!
I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
Lots of hugs.

Animal tag!

I have made another tag for my challenge theme ANIMALS
over at TAG TUESDAY.

I was lucky enough to win a challenge recently and I got to choose
two images from Hetty Clare designs.
I choose this ready coloured on. It's called
The Hamster Flower and it's super sweet!

I printed it off the size I wanted, backed onto some melon mambo card
and then stamped the sentiment from Timeless Arrangements stamp set
and layered up to fit along the side.
I finished with a die cut bow in card.

Still a few days left to get your tag made.
Come and join in the fun.
