Scrappy Friday

For my Scrappy Friday tutorial I followed a sketch provided by
Janie over at Crafter's Castle.

As soon as I saw it I knew it would be great for using up some scraps.
On this one I used scraps from the Subtles dsp pack.
The stamped items are from a set called Circle Sayings.

Scrappy Friday

My scrappy card today used up some 6" papers.
I just ripped them at different angles and
had a go at placing them together.
I added a die cut circle and some foliage cut using the
Gorgeously Made Bundle.

Myself and hubby are down with flu! He is must worse
than me so I'm still able to be up and about doing stuff.
Hoping my Flu and COVID jabs are working hard to keep it at bay!
Have a great weekend!!

My tutorial today is, of course,
more treats for the Grandkids.
This time I went with these cute punch art
bunny treat pouches!
Sorry for the bad photo but you can't
get these pouches to stand to had to
lay on the floor and lean over!

You can watch my video here

and this one is for the oldest one.

I have made them in 3 different sizes.
Largest one - 6" x 6" papers
Medium one 5" x 5"
Carrot top - 1 3/4" x 2 1/4"
Small one 4" x 4"
Carrot top - 1 3/4" x 1 3/4"
Score at 1/2" top and bottom.

I have used a tall DL card and the lovely 6" x 6" subtles dsp.
The colour is blushing bride
and I have added some whisper white crinkle seam binding

I know this is definitely one I will be using a lot!!
I have stamped it twice and raised the flowers

Fable Friends - ducks in a row!

How cute is this stamp set! I fell in love with it because of the little
Peter Rabbit lookalike but today I got the ducks out for a play.
They are adorable! Perfect for Easter and new baby cards/baby showers.
I have teamed them up with lovely soft shades of yellow and blue.

How I made my card:
1. Make your base card by cutting a4 sheet in half and fold one in half.
2. Layer up with pieces of dsp 5 5/8" x 4".
3. Cut a piece of whisper white 4 7/8" x 2 7/8" and stamp your ducks
using memento ink.
4. Colour the ducks using blends.
5. Stamp the grass in layers using lemon lime twist ink.
Re-colour the feet if need be.
6. Mat this onto piece of So Saffron.
7. Use the off cut from your main dsp, flipping over to stripe side,
and cut to 5 5/8" wide.
8. Wrap piece of organza ribbon and secure at back.
Adhere this to centre of your card.
9. Adhere main image, slightly tilted on top of this.
10. Punch a 1 1/2" circle in So Saffron and a 1 3/8" circle in whisper white.
Stamp your sentiment in balmy blue ink and add dimensionals to back.
11. Stick sentiment in place and finish with a tiny matching bow.

Flourishing Phrases

Happy Monday!
I am running very late this week as I had a family bereavement and was
helping out at the wake Friday, Saturday and then funeral yesterday.
So hopefully I will catch up as the week progresses!

Today's card is my September PDF freebie for my customers.
I LOVE my Flourishing Phrases stamp sets and when making this card
I decided to use up some scraps of dsp that have been lying around.
This one used half a sheet of 6 x 6 papers called subtles dsp.
I cut strips and flipped over alternatively to get two different designs.
I used Grapefruit Grove ink for flower and sentiment and Old Olive ink for leaves.
The pretty ribbon is called Powder Pink ruffled ribbon.
