We had an early morning drive to Omeath
and a lovely walk along the water's edge.
It had been a miserable morning here at home
but down there it was beautiful!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Recycling at Tag Tuesday

It's the second week of our recycling challenge over at
Have you joined us yet???

I saved this box from our rubbish.
It held a load of plum tomatoes and now it's living
the good life as an autumnal tag!

So I cut the bottom into my tag base.
I then stamped my crackle paint stamp in early expresso ink.
I used my brushes to ink round the edges and then punched a hole
for the ribbon (cinnamon cider).
Next I stamped the sentiment in pumpkin pie ink using
Statement of the Heart stamp and cut it out using
I inked around the edges using early expresso ink.
Next I cut some leaves out (gathered leaves dies)
I inked the edges of each and displayed as you see on the tag
I'm pretty pleased with the natural look it has and the tomato
box was made of really sturdy cardboard.
