Hello Cupcake - step card

For my Friday make I have made a step card.

I fancied doing something a bit different, but still wanted it to fit into

the c6 envelope and this is what I made.

I used a sheet of grapefruit grove card and cut 4" x 11 5/8" strip and folded in half.

I cut another piece measureing 4" x 11" and scored it at 3", 6", 9" and 10 2/8"

I glued the top 3" to the inside of the main card to form the steps.

It has been decorated using the Hello Cupcake stamp set which is

Botanical Butterfly Stepper card

Happy Monday!

I think Lemon Lime Twist is up there with one of my favourite colours!!

I wanted to make a step card for my sister's birthday and the beautiful papers

from the Botanical Butterflies (which is FREE during Sale-a-bration)

offers the perfect combination of black and lemon lime twist!

And on top of that the punch from the Butterfly Gala punches these butterflies out

from the sheet of paper perfectly!

Step up for the Birthday parade!

I hope you are all enjoying the Bank Holiday!

Our weather is slowly turning, yet again, with rumours of winter returning!!

So I'm in the craft room today creating happiness!

Today I went with a Stepper Card using these gorgeous papers called

BIRTHDAY MEMORIES.

I cut the animals out from the paper and 3d them onto a pale blue background.

I used the grass from the DSP and cut the tops to add little blades.

I finished by stamping Happy Birthday and punching it using my

TAILORED TAG PUNCH

which I then trimmed to fit the top of my card.

I used the

BEAUTIFUL BOUQUET

stamp set for the Happy Birthday and a little flower stamp to fill in the gaps

using a few Stampin' ink spots!

I love these papers, they are so bright and cheerful and easy to put

any kind of card today with a little bit of cutting and sticking.
