Happy Hour!

I have another card for a June birthday.
This one is for my sister-in-law.

I went with a cocktail theme as she loves a party.
She's not a big drinker but is very social.

I used wood effect paper for the bottom
which I inked up in yellow ink.
For the background I used a stamp set
called Geared up Garage and inked the oil stamp
in yellow, lime green and bright pink.
I then stamped and die cut the glasses
using a set called Sip Sip Hooray.
I stamped, coloured and cut all the little add ons
with my markers.
I splattered some pink ink in the white
space and then stamped my sentiment.
I then arranged the drinks in place
and finished with a sentiment.
All stamps are from SU.

I've not been around too much these past few days.
My daughter went in for a Gallbladder removal and
something went badly wrong. She is still in hospital,
still has part of her gallbladder and is very ill.
She is getting an MRI now to see what the damage is
and they will go from there.
At my wits end!

Howl at the moon!

Happy Friday!
I have been away for a few days in Wicklow
with hubby and it was so great to have
a little break as we haven't been away from
last September!
Weather was amazing, nearly too hot, dare I say lol.

My card today was made for my Son's 40th last week.
I used a stencil/mask set from Sheena Crafts
called Howling at the moon.
The stamp sets that go along with it are called
Be one with nature and Just Breathe.
I also used a few SU sets called
Sip Sip Hooray, Happiness Abounds
and Part of my story.
The papers are from Nitwits called Pocake Masculine.
I used various inks and markers to complete the card.
Inside I made an envelope to hold his birthday money.

Make it feminine - Stamping Sensations

Our February challenge theme over at STAMPING SENSATIONS is

MAKE IT FEMININE

We have two sponsors this month!!

I was lucky enough to receive this lovely image from JMC to play with
and I have teamed it up with a stamp set call Sip Sip Hooray.
The image is called Cosmo Polly and I think the two work perfectly together.

I created the tag in real red card, then cut a whisper white tag to fit on top.
It has been stamped using the lemon stamp and daffodil delight ink.
Cosmo Polly has been coloured using blends and added
to the tag using dimensionals.
The sentiment has been stamped in real red ink,
chopped up and added using dimensionals.

I hope you get time to join us this month
and be sure and pop over to Stamping Sensations
for lots of inspiration from the talented ladies!!

Tag Tuesday Celebrations!

It's my turn to choose the theme for this fortnight's
and I have decided on
CELEBRATIONS!
That leaves it open to lots of different occasions
so please come and show your support and make my day!

For my tag I have used the Sip Sip Hooray stamp set.
The colour I went with for the background is Purple Posy.
The glasses have been stamped and die cut.
There is lots of sparkle on there, but as usual,
I have failed to capture it in my photo.
I finished the tag off with matching ribbon.

I hope you get time to join us!!
