Easter Greetings

I stole a bit of time to make some Easter cards
for my Grandkids.
The cards are exactly the same other than the first one is
coloured using blends and promarkers,

and this one has been coloured with pencils.
Which do you like best?
I used an old embossing folder on the kraft card bases,
used the Ornate Layers Dies for the image (Digi Stamp Boutique)
and finished with some matching ribbon.
The sentiment is stamped in bumblebee ink and is from
the Fable Friends stamp set.

Back to my desk as I have a few more cards to get done
before Saturday!

Another butterfly on the wall - card 3

Happy Monday!

I am starting my week with card 3 using the sketches from
Kendra's card challenge.

This one was lovely to work with.
It is so great to be able to use so much stash up!

I have added pale papaya card to the
already cut strips.
It has been embossed using Bricks & Mortar embossing folder.
I used Ornate Layers Dies to create
the edges for each strip.
The butterflies were the ones I made a few weeks ago'
using  butterfly gala stamps, pale papaya ink and
You can watch my video here

I won't add a sentiment until
I know what I will be using the card for.

Home is where the heart is

I had a request for a new home card
with photos of the house which I tried to
replicate using my stamps.

The papers were free during Sale-a-bration.
The ribbon, flowers and leaves are all retired now.
But the lovely die cut frame is from Ornate Layers dies.
I used the stitched rectangle dies for the sentiments.

The house stamps came from a set called
Coming Home and the stamped sentiments are
from another set called Barn Door, both retired.
I colour the house used smoky slate, crumb cake, bermuda bay
I stamped the flowers from Pop of Petals
in Bermuda Bay ink, punched them out and
made the flowers.

Forever Fern Anniversary Card

Happy Monday!
Hope you all had a safe weekend!

I'm starting my week with a Thinking of You card
for a customer's friend who has a relative's 1st Anniversary looming.

I wanted to keep everything soft and fresh so went with pool party and
mint macaron colours. The stamp set Is Forever Fern
and I used one of the Ornate Layers dies with the lovely edging.

I just stamped and layered up the bunch until I was happy.
This stamp and die bundle is really lovely to work with
and so useful. I have made and sold more than enough
cards to cover the cost easily.

There is a right gale blowing out there
which has filled our garden with the start of the Autumn leaves.
Busy season between now and December as we
are totally surrounded by trees who all love
to live their last moments in our garden lol.
Beautiful sight but hard work to keep on top of!

Have a great week and stay safe.

Forever Fern Sympathy Card

Happy Monday!

I have another customer card
using the Forever Fern Bundle.
I used Rococo Rose card which I embossed with an old embossing folder.
I followed the colours into the flower spray.
Unfortunately I had to take the photo inside and it's not looking the best.

Forever Fern Sympathy Card

Happy Monday!
What a weekend of rain we had!
Seriously, it just never stopped!!

My card today is another Sympathy card
for a customer of mine.
I have used the lovely
Forever Fern Bundle
and again kept it in nice autumnal colours.
The background has been embossed with the
Pinewood Planks Embossing folder,
a definite favourite of mine.
The fancy borders are from the Ornate Layers dies.

Wet and miserable here today after a long
wet and miserable weekend!
There is talk of a total lock down here for 2 weeks
and I have a few appointments this month I don't want to miss.
Fingers crossed they go ahead.

Birthday Wishes

Happy Monday!

I had a play with Forever Fern Bundle over the weekend.
I think I got carried away with the lovely stamps
and ended up with far too much on my card lol.
The frames are from the Ornate layers.

So my trip to the dentist did not solve my problem.
Apparently I am clamping my jaws at night time
and causing a lot of jaw pain for myself.
Not something they can cure so just need to try
and relax, pretty impossible if you are sleeping lol.
So if you have any tips please share them with me.

Hope you have a great week.
