September -Feminine

Our new challenge theme over at
Make it Feminine!

We have a lovely prize up for grabs from
Stamp Addicts is a family run business based in Bedfordshire and have been in business since 1992. We have watched the popularity of rubber stamping and all papercrafts steadily increase over time and now manufacture our own branded rubber stamps which frequently feature on Hochanda TV as well as exhibiting at craft shows across the UK.

For my card I dug out an old stamp set from Woodware called
Bubble Bloom. I stamped the flower, coloured it in
and then filled the flower with card candi and gems.
The butterfly stamp is from a set from Paper Artsy called
Tops and Tails 3. The butterfly has been colours cut and layered.
I added an embossed line around the edge of the flower image.
The sentiment has been stamped and punched out using my
oval punch (SU).
The background paper is from Oh So Ombre from Stampin' Up.

I hope you can come and join us this month!

Easter Egg Cards

I made these cards for my Grandkids
for Easter.
I decided going with an oval shape would look cute
and with them all being boys
I went with green and blue colours.
I cut one oval in Bermuda bay and one in granny apple green.
The curvy die was used to cut the top and bottom
off both ovals and then I just swapped
them about and and stuck on to my base card
which I had cut with the same oval.
I stamped and coloured the little rabbit in
matching colours and the sentiment
was stamped in bermuda bay ink and
punched out using the Oval Occasions dies.

For this card I have used
Oh so Ombre papers retired
Fable Friends Stamp set retired

Home is where the heart is

I had a request for a new home card
with photos of the house which I tried to
replicate using my stamps.

The papers were free during Sale-a-bration.
The ribbon, flowers and leaves are all retired now.
But the lovely die cut frame is from Ornate Layers dies.
I used the stitched rectangle dies for the sentiments.

The house stamps came from a set called
Coming Home and the stamped sentiments are
from another set called Barn Door, both retired.
I colour the house used smoky slate, crumb cake, bermuda bay
I stamped the flowers from Pop of Petals
in Bermuda Bay ink, punched them out and
made the flowers.

Dragonfly Garden

This is my mid month post for the theme of
Colour mWorld
over at

I played about with some inks and brushes
and used my pre made stencil to create
the stripes.
I stamped the dragonflies from
in memento ink and added some little white
dots and a sentiment.
I tore some strips from Oh So Ombre papers
and added to the sides before adhering to my
card base.
Simple and colourful 😁

I hope you get time to join us HERE.

Oval Occasions Customer Card

Happy Monday!
Today I celebrate being with
Stampin' Up!
for three whole years!
Stampin' Up! was on my bucket list for a while
but when I signed up I didn't intend to stay so long 😂
But I have enjoyed it immensely!

Today I am sharing my second customer card kit,
this time a little baby card.

I have used Oval Occasions bundle again for this one
along with the Oh so Ombre papers
which I ran through with the pinewood planks embossing folder.
The top paper is from Paper Blooms paper pack which is also
free during Sale-a-bration!
The ribbon and bow are from the gorgeous  sparkle ribbon,
and I have added some little pastel pearls.
The image has been coloured using

I have followed the design inside using a
large oval to write or stamp the sentiment.

True Love Card Kit

This is one of the card kits I sent out
to  thank my January customers.

I have used the gorgeous True Love papers pack
which comes with lots of florals you can either
leave black and white or colour in.
The background papers are Oh So Ombre
which were so popular they are now on back order 😒
But thankfully I have enough for all my kits.

The sentiment was made using the Oval Occasions bundle.
They get everything including the envelope
to make this lovely card.
Well all bar the stamping as we are not allowed
to send pre stamped images.

I have used the stitched rectangle dies for the inside
and the stamp set is called Approaching Perfection,
another free option during Sale-a-bration!
