New technique for me!

RETIRED STAMPS FOR SALE HERE

I'm starting the week off with something totally out of my comfort zone!!

I saw a technique where the lady (sorry cannot remember the name) used a

piece of acetate, coloured it up with her alcohol markers and pressed

onto her card front. So I had to give it a go, just so I could say I tried it lol.

I used a stamp set from one of my kits, Notes of Kindness.

I started by coloured one stripe with lovely lipstick blends.

I recommend you doing one strip at a time as they do dry very quickly!!

I then went with light lovely lipstick, flirty flamingo and finally lt smoky slate.

I used the same stamp set to add to opposite corners and finished with

some sticky backed sequins!

I did add wink of stella to the stripes but as usual it doesn't show up.

I showed this to my husband who did not like it at all. NICE!

But it isn't really my type of stamping but I did enjoy trying out

the new (to me) technique!

Notes of Kindness - Die cut Thank you

Final card from the Notes of Kindness kit.
Remember you get 20 cards and envelopes in total along
with all the supplies you need other than wet glue!

This one has no stamping at all. The large thank you comes
as a sticky back die cut!!
It has a lovely big flower which sits on already stamped leaves.
You just add everything and finish with some bakers twine and pearls.

I hope you have enjoyed this kit as much as I have.
Pop it in your basket as a gift for a friend and have a little crafty get together.

Notes of kindness - Thanks

This is the second card in the Notes of Kindness card kit.
It comes with a watercolour background already on the card.
You simply stamp the little stars and sentiment and add the layers
finishing with a bakers twine bow!
I love the soft colour palette in this kit.

Notes of Kindness - 1

This week I am showcasing one of our Card Kit Classes.

These are excellent for beginnings and for the more experienced

crafter who needs a card in a hurry!

You get so much in the box, even the box is gorgeous and would make a great gift

for someone needing a kick start to a brand new hobby with 20 cards to make!

The first card is this one. Everything I used is from the kit.

I stamped the sentiment using the black ink and added all the pre cut layers.

Even the dimensional are in there!!
