My son is getting a new roof on his house next door

and of boy, the mess coming over the top of us is

something else. We have a deep layer of grinded stone

everywhere and having to keep the windows closed

even though it's sooooo warm.

Needs must, the roof needs fixed,

and we will hose everything down

when they are done!

Cute Valentine Gift Boxes

My video tutorial is a quick and easy gift box,

geared towards little Valentine treats

for the grandkids.

It is super simple to make, bit of stamping

and ink blending.

You will need the die though, or something similar!

Mini Halloween Treats

I am really jumping ahead with my crafty ideas

but when I got this new paper pad called Plaid Tidings,

this particular colour just screamed Halloween!!

As you can see above I stamped lots of little Halloween phrases,

bats, pumpkins and spiders webs!

Our numbers are rising badly over here at the minute
it's beginning to get scary again.
We also had another death in the family circle.
A cousin of my husbands died suddenly yesterday, and a friend's Mum
is being buried today.
Such an awful time for so many people.

Snowman Gift Box Tutorial

My Tuesday tutorial shows how to make

these cute little snowman gift boxes.

They hold two packs of Snack biscuits

and you could easily slip in a teabag or coffee pack!

Measurements needed to follow along

White card - 6" x 5 5/8"

Score long side - 1/2", 1 1/8", 3 2/8", 3 7/8"

Score short side - 3", 3 1/4", 3 1/2", 5"

Black card - 6" x 2 1/8"

Curvy Box Monster!

I have been making a few of these wee boxes with a

Halloween theme recently and thought I would share this one with you.

He is a cute wee monster lol.

I can't go too scary as some of my grandsons are still quite young.

These little boxes are made with a die so they are very quick and easy.

The slowest part is deciding how to decorate them!

They will be filled with 4 chocolate balls and maybe a £1 or 2

then I won't get the blame for filling them with sugar!

and they will all have 4 little chocolates inside.
