Tag Tuesday - animal theme

The challenge theme over at
Tag Tuesday
has been chosen by me today and I have gone with
ANIMALS.

I hope you get time to join in the fun with us.

For my tag I have had a bit of fun with masking
this cute little lamp from the
Welcome Easter stamp set.
The sentiment is from a brand new stamp set coming
in June. I just had to have it for my scrapbooking but
couldn't resist using it for my tag.
The stamp set is called A Grand Kid!
If you make cards, scrapbooks or gifts for your Grandkids
then you will NEED this stamp set!!
Just remember to buy it from me :)

Art Journal Page 8

I seemed to be having too much fun with this stamp set that it
has ended up being the next page on my journal!!

When you are a bit down or under the weather people often use the phrase
'there is always someone worse off than you'.
It is a great phrase and it was on my mind when I created this page.

I started by stamping the sloth then the giraffe. They were coloured using blends.
Then I covered them in masking fluid and created the sky and grass.
I finished by stamping all the sentiments in various places and raising
three of them that stood out to me.
I'm very happy with my page today.

Daisy Delight thank you card

Happy Monday!
I have a thank you card to share with you today.
With all the mild weather we have been having I felt it was time to get out
the Daisy Delight stamp set.
It is actually a cream card but I had to take the photo outside because
we are having work done and it now looks white!

I used a cream card base, layered up another piece of very vanilla
and cut a window using the rectangle stitched dies.
I stamped my flowers and leaves, masking the flowers
here and there to stamp the leaves and then coloured the background
using pool party blends. I added some wink of stella to the flowers.
I stamped the sentiment from the same set in pool party ink.
I love that I can match everything so easily now!!

I mounted the die cut rectangle on top of my flowers using dimensionals.
Then stuck in place and finished with a pool party ribbon knot!
