Slider Box tutorial

I have a tutorial to share today.
I needed a gift box to hold some cash for
a 50th birthday this month
and I saw a tutorial for a slider box over on
Instagram. It was a much bigger box but
I loved the concept so I re-designed
to suit the size I needed.
The lady's name is Raushan_Willms.

It's a slider box.

So the one I made is just 3" x 3"
and I made it to match the pop up box
card I shared a while ago.

You can watch my tutorial here

Items used
Papers - DCWV
Stamps - Itty Bitty Birthdays (SU)

Birthday Folio

Happy Monday!

I am getting a head start on my April birthdays
as it's our busiest month for sure.

So instead of a birthday card for my daughter
I have gone with a birthday folio.
You can see a quick walk through of the insides here

I followed a tutorial from Septeria's Room which you
can find HERE.

I didn't forget to colour one side of her hair lol.
She always has one side black and one white.
Our very own Cruella Deville!!

Items used
Papers - Do Craft - Wellington
Stamps - Love you to pieces,
Love this moment, Framed Florets, Alphabest,
Country Bouquet, Itty Bitty Birthdays (all SU),
and Beyond Stamping.
Some paper lace, charms, vellum and wool
from stash.

Centre Step Card

My one and only sister-in-law's 60th birthday
is coming this month and this is
the card I made.
I used papers from Craftwork Cards,
The stamped and die cut embellishments are
from an old SU set called Dressed to Impress.
I made the flowers using a die set called Paper Floristry (SU).
Sentiments are from Itty Bitty Birthdays
and I die cut the numbers a few times in fun foam
and paper.
I used a Tattered Lace die for the base of the card
and finished it off with a bow, flowers and gems.

We are off to the dentist today for a check up.
Fingers crossed neither of us needs anything done!

Pretty Gift Box tutorial

I made this box recently for my Mother-in-law's birthday.
It was filled with her favourite chocolates.

I used mirri card for the bottom and papers from an old stack
from We R Memory keepers for the lid.
I had some nice blue ribbon which made a lovely big bow.
I cut out a die shape and stamped the sentiment and name
using Happy Birthday to You and Alphabest stamp sets (SU).
I cut some birds from the leftover papers to decorate.

As I haven't done a box tutorial for ages I decided
to give the old grey matter a shake and do one!

I did make it smaller than my first one but you can make this box
any size you want and the design will work.

For this one I used papers from Paper Discovery and some
co-ordinating card for the base from my stash.
It was decorated using punched flowers and leaves.
The sentiment was stamped using Itty Bitty Birthdays (SU)
and finished with some gems.

You can watch my tutorial here

Measurements needed to make this size
Paper - 5 3/4" x 8 1/4"
Card - 5 3/4" x 8 1/4"
Score all sides on both at 1 3/4"

Happy Monday!
Hope you all had a lovely day yesterday

Today I have a tutorial for this cute gift bag.
Great for tearing into your old card and paper stash
and even those embellishments that
get neglected too!

I used papers from K & Co, card I think is
either Hunkydory or Create & Craft.
I added ribbon, brads and a paper flower
and the sentiment is from a stamp set called
Itty Bitty Birthdays (SU).

Stash Buster 7

I designed these gift holders a few months back
but only got the chance to make the video!
You just need a 6" x 6" sheet to make one
and they are the perfect size for money or gift card
with a little tag at the back to write on.

This is the back pocket for the tag which you could
add some decoration to if you were inclined.

I have made a bunch to have for a lot of occasions
as that is mostly what we give as gifts now.

You can watch my video tutorial here

Measurements needed to make one
Double sided dsp 2 pieces - 6" x 3"
Score one sheet at 2 1/2"
Score one sheet at 2 1/2", 5 1/2"
Some card to match for decoration
White card for tag - 3 1/4" x 2"

Items I used for mine
Circle Sayings, Warm Hugs and Itty Bitty Birthdays (all SU)
random papers from stash, bow die, melon mambo ink and card

Mini Miura Card Fold

When I saw Valery's challenge this time over at
her card fold was called a Mini Miura.
I had never heard of it so had to have a go.
Valery gives all the measurements and instructions
on her blog so be sure and pop over.

I followed the instructions and made a video tutorial
for my VIP Group.
Struggled here and there lol but got there in the end.

For my card I have used
Butterfly Bijou papers
2" and 1 3/4" circle punches

We are off this afternoon with our son to do some
house viewings.
He and his wife are looking to move closer
to home, which is brilliant!
We will have all our children close to us again!
One living at home, one next door, another 5 mins away
and now Milo, hopefully about 5 mins away too!
Think I never cut my apron strings 😂
Have a lovely weekend.

Birthday Cogs!

Happy Monday!

My card today was made for my
Mother-in-law's Grandson.
He is an engineer with Triumph motorbikes
and loves his fancy cars so I thought
this would suit him.

I have used the garage gear dies to
create all the cogs in silver, black and mango melody card.
The background papers are retired.
I also used the little brick die from the
Brilliant Wings dies to make a brick stencil
to add some brick to the papers.
The sentiments are stamped in memento
stamp sets.

Birthday Wishes

Happy Monday!

I had a play with Forever Fern Bundle over the weekend.
I think I got carried away with the lovely stamps
and ended up with far too much on my card lol.
The frames are from the Ornate layers.

So my trip to the dentist did not solve my problem.
Apparently I am clamping my jaws at night time
and causing a lot of jaw pain for myself.
Not something they can cure so just need to try
and relax, pretty impossible if you are sleeping lol.
So if you have any tips please share them with me.

Hope you have a great week.
