Birthday card

For this birthday card I decided to mix and match my
Stampin' Up! with Mo's Digital Pencil image and a Sheena
embossing board!

I embossed the main card front using the embossing board
then using a strip of leftover gingham paper for the centre,
I added some strips of pink card.
I then stamped and white embossed the flowers from a set called
Darling Details, onto some of the pink card and die cut them out.
I then did the same for the leaves onto green card and cut them out.
The digi stamp was printed, coloured with markers and cut to fit
to one side of my card and I finished with sentiment
and name top and bottom and some gems.

Another wet day here so we ventured to Ikea at the other
side of Belfast.
Nice dry day inside and fed on meatballs and chips lol.

Rabbit or hare

It's the second week of my theme
bunny or hare
over at

I had a piece of card lying on my desk with that lovely
cut curve at the end so I decided to use it for my tag.
I punched two holes down the length then ran it through
with an embossing folder for some texture.
I raised it up and stuck to the lovely gingham paper.
The bunnies, carrot and butterfly were stamped, coloured
and cut then tucked in to each of the circles.
I finished with a chopped sentiment and a bit of ribbon.

I hope you get time to join in the challenge.

Welcome to my lovely new follower STEPHANIE S!
Thanks so much for following me.

We are still patiently waiting on our roof tiles arriving!
Thank goodness the weather is really good but I would
be much happier with the roof finished!

Birthday gift box

My tutorial today is this cute little box.
I sized it to hold some Reece's Cups as they are a favourite

Dress it up!

It's the second week of Sandie's theme
Sewing/Stitching or dressmaking at

I have used the patchwork pieces dies for my background
and then used some Nitwits downloads called Seams to me, to create the decoration.
I finished the card by stapling some bubble bath ribbon to the top.

I hope you get time to join in this week.

Bit overcast but got my lake walk in thankfully.
Nothing much on the agenda today so will kick back and relax.
