Gift Wallet/Purse idea

More Christmas purse/wallet type gift card/money holders.

I came across a tutorial for something like this over on
Pink Strawberryz and decided to have a go.
I made four as you can see.
I did do my own tutorial where I changed things up a bit
which you can watch here.

You use one sheet of 12 x 12 double sided paper
so a great stash buster too.

I did a walk through video of the finished wallets
which you can watch here.

For my wallets/purses I used retired papers from SU
and filled it with some ATC's and stickers for decoration
along with a mini card and some covered chocolate.
The stamp sets I used are from Card-io.
I also did some machine stitching and made
the closure using velcro dots.

Measurements needed
One sheet of 12" x 12" double sided paper
Cut into 3 pieces at 4" x 12"
Score 2 pieces at 2/4", 3", 6", 9", 11 1/4"
Score 1 piece at 3", 6", 9"

Hope you all have a lovely week.

Penguin wallet

I am really blasting through my gift boxes/wallets etc.
This one is for my eldest Grandson Oliver
and will hold a voucher to his favourite sportswear shop.
It's so much easier when they want to
choose their own clothes lol.

I made it from white card and decorated up using
some old papers from SU called Plaid Tidings.
The closure was badly cut using Basic Dies (SU)
and the wrap has been embossed using an old
Tattered Lace folder.
I punched a circle with matching card
then stamped using an Indigo Blu stamp
called Christmas Word Block in cherry cobbler ink.
This was punched out and layered onto the belly band.
I then added a large O for his name.
To finish off I stamped, punched and dressed
the wee penguin using Penguin Place (SU)
and stuck in place.

I have another two like this to make for
two more Grandsons.

It's bitter cold here today and my Grandson is
in a cross country race wearing a vest and shorts!
Oh to be young lol.
Have a lovely weekend everyone.

Triple Pocket Wallet

My Stash Buster tutorial today uses a full sheet of 12 x 12 and
you can create this lovely 3 pocket gift wallet.

I made a matching card for mine to fill one pocket.
Another pocket will be filled with with money
and the third will be a flat chocolate treat of some sort.

Perfect for giving money gifts for my family this year.

You can watch my tutorial here

I found the original tutorial on YouTube from
Scrapbooking with me Crafts channel.

All measurements given out during the tutorial.
You just need a nice sheet of 12 x 12 double sided paper.

I have used papers from SU called Winter Meadows.
Stamp set - Poinsettia Petals (SU)
Ink - berry burst (SU)
Notecards, rectangle dies, gems and wink of stella.

Gift Wallet

I also made this wallet to go along with the
Christening Album I shared on Wednesday.

It has two pockets, one on the inside and one at the back.

I put a mini card in the inside pocket

and money in the back pocket.
The belly band held it all secure.

I used a stamp set called Inspired Events (SU).

The cross was die cut using a spellbinders die
and the papers are old ones from SU.
The little card is from a Memories and more pack called
Bright and Beautiful.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Gift Wallet for cards

Happy Monday!
Today I thought I would share two of my wallets.
Tutorial available via newsletter in sidebar.

This is an inside view showing how you can add
two notecards and envelopes to either side.

This is the second colour I went with.
It's so easy to make these, no glue, no cutting,
just a quick fold and burnish!

Bright and sunny today.
I have the shopping done and will be heading out for
short walk with Squirt.
That's all he can manage now, he will 16 in February!
Have a great week!

Wallet or purse?

I came across a challenge on Chrissy's blog called
and they wanted to see you make a wallet/gift card hold.
I did need two, one for female and one for a male
and I have made this type before so it was going to be my go to.
I like the finished look, either a purse or a wallet and
quick and easy to make! Plus it holds the notes like a purse/wallet!

I made a quick video showing how I did the male one here

Measurements to make one
Card base - 6" x 5"
Score 6" side at 3"
Score 5" side at 1 1/2"
Dsp for base - 5 3/4" x 3 1/4"
Dsp for pocket (make 2) - 2 3/4" x 1 1/4"
Card for closure - 2" x 4 1/4"
Dsp for closure - 2" x 4"

Yesterday was my birthday and I can safely say
it was the best one yet!
We walked our wee dog Squirt, then hubby and myself
had a long walk around our local park.
Then we went for our lunch which was delicious.
We visited my mother-in-law then came home
to entertain my daughter, her partner and my Grandson Oliver
who brought presents and chocolate and cake!
We then had a visit from my son Deaglan, his wife Patricia
and my two Grandsons Sean and Tom and they brought more
chocolate and more presents!
I also got some crafty goodies from hubby lol.
So all in all it was a lovely happy, relaxed day!
Hope you all have a great weekend.

Christmas Gleaming Gift Wallet

Another wallet order.
This time I went with the gorgeous Brightly Gleaming dsp
which has sadly completely sold out,
and teamed it up with some gold mirri card from my stash.
I used the Christmas Gleaming stamp set
and coloured the holly with my matching blends.
The closure is just a belly band but I also lined the inside
using the same dsp as the back of the mirri card is white.
