Time for more pink!

It's time for our midway post over at
where the optional theme is
add a little or a lot of pink.

For my tag I made the background on my gelli plate
using lace and pink and white acrylic paints.
I then stamped some text using
Gorgeously Made stamps (SU).
I then stamped the blueberries using
Berry Blessings (SU) and green
and blue inks.
I then ran the tag through my sewing machine
and inked around the edges.
I stamped the sentiment onto a circle
and added some lace and
bakers twine for texture.
I finished with a pearl heart
and some natural fibres in blue.

For my ATC the background was made using
the gelli plate.
I cut my atc then sprayed it with
cosmic shimmer mist in deep pink.
I stamped the little girl and sentiment
using a set
called Silhouette Scenes (SU).
Then using Gorgeous Made (SU),
I added some text and stars.
Next I used some embossing paste (TH)
and a stencil from SU.
I inked up the edges in black to finish.

Double post

Our May challenge and our FINAL one over at
is Cute Creatures!

As always there is a fabulous prize
so be sure and get your entry/entries in!

I went with this poor giraffe and made a bookmark.
The background was made on my gelli plate
using acrylic paint and sponges
but I did mask off my giraffe first.
I then added some embossing paste (TH)
and a leaf stencil (SU).
At the bottom I added some green fun flock
to ground my giraffe.
I removed the mask and coloured him
up with markers.
I stamped the sentiment and chopped it up
to fit down the centre of the bookmark.
I finished it off with some black wool.
The Giraffe is from an old SU set
called Back on your Feet.

For our May challenge over at
the theme is
All Creatures great and Small.

We have a lovely prize up for grabs here too
so come and join us!

For my card I used a cream base which I didn't like
so I inked it with green ink.
I then stencilled the background using a stencil
from IndigoBlu in green ink and
ran it through my sewing machine.
Next I stamped the gorgeous fox (IndigoBlu)
and coloured him up with markers.
I ripped around the edges of him
and before sticking in place,
I added some string so it would
show behind him.
I stamped and inked the sentiment,
chopped it up and placed on my card
to finish.

Tag and ATC

I have a tag for our midway post over at
where the optional theme is
blossoms, butterflies and birds.

For my tag I used an old set from SU called
Framed Florets. The shape of my tag was cut
using two of the dies in the set.
I then cut an oval, stamped my flowers onto it
and layered behind the green oval.
I stamped the flowers again, cut them out,
coloured them with markers
and layered them onto the tag.
I stamped the sentiment in yellow ink
and finished with a yellow bow and some green gems.

For my ATC I made a background on my brand new
Gelli plate. Brenda said I NEEDED one!!
I hadn't a clue what I was doing but gave
it a go anyway lol.
I used blue and yellow inks and an old SU stamp
called crackle paint to create the look.
When dry I stamped the flowers along the bottom
using an SU set called Dragonfly Garden,
and coloured them up with markers.
I then stamped, punched and coloured the
butterflies (Butterfly Gala SU) and finished with a
stamped sentiment.
