My cards today were made to replenish my Sympathy stock.

A card we will always be sure to need!

I made two in different colours and even finished the insides too!

The first one is in fresh freesia.

The second one is in Lost Lagoon colours.

Bee happy in the garden!

Today I am sharing my midway post for

STAMPING SENSATIONS challenge with optional theme

in the garden.

We have a lovely prize up for grabs so come and join us!

A while back I won this lovely stamp set from Woodware called

Decorative Bee and thought it would be perfect for this challenge.

I started off by using my foursquare decorative mask for the background

in Lemon Lime twist. I then stamped the dangling leaves and flowers

from the stamp set in black and coloured them in.

Next came the bee. I stamped part of him in the corner of my

card and coloured him up. I stamped the body twice so I could 3d him.

I then stamped the sentiment and added some twice beneath it.

The bee has had some wink of stella added for sparkle and I stuck

some sequins to the top, here and there, for added texture.

Garden Delights!

It's the start of our September challenge over at

STAMPING SENSATIONS

where the theme is.....anything stamped option garden delights.

For my card I made a mixed media background using

a variety of stamps and colours. I added some stencilling

and a bit of paste for texture.

I then ran it through the patchwork pieces die set.

I matted the pieces onto some pumpkin pie card

and layered it onto my base card.

I stamped the flower and leaves from the Darling Details set,

cut them out and layered them onto the corner.

I stamped a few little butterflies, coloured them up, cut

them out and added to the card.

It was then finished with a stamped sentiment.

Hey Chuck!

I had so much fun making this card!

The background is stencilled to add a bit of interest

and the colours I used are lemon lolly and daffodil delight.

I even took time to finish off the inside to match!

Take a leaf out of my book!

It's Valerie's turn to choose the theme over at

TAG TUESDAY

and this fortnight it's all about books!

I got this lovely bundle recently called

Gorgeously Made and it has the script stamp as well

as the lovely punched page look.

I used  the Foursquare Decorative Masks to create

the little bubble bath squares on my very vanilla background.

I stamped the script along the right hand side

then used the die to cut along the left side.

I added one of the leaf dies, blended using lost lagoon ink.

The sentiment was computer generated and cut using

another one of those gorgeous dies.
