Easter Greetings

I stole a bit of time to make some Easter cards
for my Grandkids.
The cards are exactly the same other than the first one is
coloured using blends and promarkers,

and this one has been coloured with pencils.
Which do you like best?
I used an old embossing folder on the kraft card bases,
used the Ornate Layers Dies for the image (Digi Stamp Boutique)
and finished with some matching ribbon.
The sentiment is stamped in bumblebee ink and is from
the Fable Friends stamp set.

I would like to enter these into

Back to my desk as I have a few more cards to get done
before Saturday!

So Santa...who needs snow?

This is my second card using the
ONE SHEET WONDER idea.
You can get the measurements I used on my Monday post (HERE)

Is this not a cute little image for Christmas cards?
I know lots of people who will get a kick out of this stamp design.

So for my card I have used:
a piece of under the mistletoe dsp from my one sheet wonder
real red card and whisper white card
square layering dies
Burlap ribbon
So saffron and memento ink pads
wet glue and dimensionals
He has been coloured using Stampin' Blends and watercolour pencils
along with a blender pen

I added some dimension to the bottom of the card by simply scoring
on every third notch on my scoring board.

So Santa scooting by!

I had lots of crafty fun over the weekend! Did you!
Did you do anything nice for WORLD CARD MAKING DAY?
I do hope so.

My cards this week are all made using the
So Santa stamp set.
This set is soooo much fun, I really enjoyed playing with it.
It's also part of my challenge this week to create using the
One Sheet Wonder idea.

So I sat down and designed my cuts for the sheet and then designed my cards.
This, believe it or not, was so easy!
It makes batch card making a dawdle.

This is my cutting layout

I kept it simple, cutting as follows and used one sheet from the
Under the Mistletoe DSP

1. cut 3" x 12"
2. Cut one of the 6"x3" pieces in half - giving you two pieces 1 1/2"x 6"
3. Cut 6"x 12"
4. Cut this sheet in half giving you two 6" square pieces
5. Cut one of the 6" sheets diagonally and cut the other in half as above.
6. This leaves you with a 3"x 12" piece.
7. Cut in half both ways leaving you with 4 pieces measuring 1 1/2"x 6"
Then just off you go and play!

For this card I have used:
So Santa stamp set
Under the Mistletoe, old olive card stock, square layering dies,
whisper white spotty ribbon, colouring pencils, blender pen and Stampin' Blends
The sentiment was stamped using old olive ink.
