Penguin parade!

The penguins are at it again lol.
These were made for Michele's challenge over at
where the theme is winter holidays.
I made these for my Grandson's cosy gift parcels.
This one is for the teenager

and I made 3 of these for the younger ones.

We are due to have our family get together tomorrow night
but so many in the family are now down with flu.
Poor wee Finbar, who was very sick two weeks ago,
has had a relapse and it has spread to all the family.

There is just so many bugs and covid going around again.
Stay safe out there.
I have one more post tomorrow before I sign off for Christmas.
Thanks for sticking by me!!

Tag Tuesday - Christmas tag

We have a new theme over at
and it has been chosen by Sandie.
You are going to love this one
CHRISTMAS or ANYTHING GOES!!

Well as it's December I thought I would go with
a Christmas tag.

For this one I had a bit of fun with a stamp set called
I stamped and white embossed the sentiment.
I then stamped the houses, tree and lamp
and masked off and inked up the sky
and snowy gardens.
I stamped the Happy Christmas from Itty Bitty Christmas
and white embossed onto red card.
I used an emboss pen and white embossing powder
to add snow to the roofs and tree.
A white chalk pen was used to add snow.
I layered it onto some real red card and finished with a
stapled red ribbon.

I hope you get time to join us this fortnight.

Texture at Tag Tuesday

It's the second week of our challenge over at
where Wendy has challenged us to use
TEXTURE!

I saw a gorgeous tree over on Pinterest and it
inspired me to have a go on my tag.
I have inked up the base then cut some paper the same size,
sprayed with water and crinkled up and then dried.
I added it to my tag and stamped some wording down
either side.

I then made the tree by rolling scraps of paper and dipping
the ends in ink.
I added some gesso and white shimmer paint and even some thin
bits of sparkly stuff I found in my drawer.
It was a bugger trying to get them to stick though lol.

I finished off with some fake snow
then sprayed the whole tag with sparkle sealant.
The star is front my stash, I used seam binding for the top
and stamped and inked the sentiment.

Christmas at Tag Tuesday

It's my turn to choose the theme for this fortnight's challenges
over at TAG TUESDAY
and I am torturing the ladies with
CHRISTMAS!!

For my tag I have used Snowman Season stamp set
and created a little snow storm for this poor wee Snowman!
I inked up a cloudy sky and stamped some snow
(think I went a bit mad with that stamp lol).

I hope you get time to join the fun and get some
Christmas tags ready for the season!!

Sugar and spice Christmas tag

My Friday project is another tag!
I love this stamp set and if you do too please go and get it as I believe it is
on the retiring list and once it sells out that will be it :(
This stamp set is jam packed with cute Santa's and sentiments.

This tag was quick and easy to make using my tag topper punch.
Two pieces of card and one stamp set.

Signs of Santa tag

I have been busy wrapping up gifts as I buy them,
simply to take a bit of Christmas Eve pressure off lol.
I know my tag stash is getting low and I do like to give a handmade tag at Christmas.

This one was quick and easy and lots of fun to make.
Again great for using scraps of card and ribbon.
