Double up!

Our new challenge over at
is anything goes with the option of hand coloured image.

We have some lovely prizes up for grabs
from Grafton crafts so be sure and join us!!

For my card I have used a PB stamp called Soft spoken.
I stamped the flower and coloured it up using markers in shades
of purple and green.
I stamped the sentiment in black from a stamp set called
Latte Love (SU).
I then used a stencil called Four Square (SU) and added
some colour around the area of the flower.
I matted it onto some purple card and finished it
off with a bakers twine bow.

I hope you get time to join us this month!

It's also time for a new challenge over at
and the theme this month is anything but square!

We have a lovely prize up for grabs so be sure and join us!

For my card I decided to make a circle easel card.
As it's my eldest son's birthday this month
I kept him in mind when making it.

I had treated myself to stamps, stencils and masks from
Sheena Douglas and for this card I used
Howling at the Moon.
I absolutely love these sets and know it will be well used.
I went with shades of green and blue and created
a scene inside the stencil using the matching stamps.
The circle dies are from a Tattered Lace set.
Other stamp set used are
Country Birdhouse, Artistically Inked and Alphabest (SU).

I hope you get time to join us this month.

Birthday card

For this birthday card I decided to mix and match my
Stampin' Up! with Mo's Digital Pencil image and a Sheena
embossing board!

I embossed the main card front using the embossing board
then using a strip of leftover gingham paper for the centre,
I added some strips of pink card.
I then stamped and white embossed the flowers from a set called
Darling Details, onto some of the pink card and die cut them out.
I then did the same for the leaves onto green card and cut them out.
The digi stamp was printed, coloured with markers and cut to fit
to one side of my card and I finished with sentiment
and name top and bottom and some gems.

Another wet day here so we ventured to Ikea at the other

Anything goes

Our new theme over at
has been chosen by Sandie and she has made it very easy
with her 'anything goes' theme.

As our Grandson Tom's birthday is tomorrow I
thought I would make a little tag for his presents.

The background paper is from Bright and Beautiful dsp.
The cupcakes have been paper pieced at the bottom
and coloured with my markers for the tops.
I added the sentiment and some stars to finish it off.

I hope you get time to join us!!

Beautiful birthday bouquet

Happy September!
Today is our 44th Wedding Anniversary💓
Where did that time go??

My card today is made up of die cuts from the gorgeous
Paper Florist set. They have been coloured up and positioned
onto an embossed background.
The sentiment is stamped though and it's from a set called
Artistically Inked.
I will have a video tutorial over on my shop page Here.

So we had no tiles on the roof yesterday and YES it
rained all day long!
We had to get the boys back out as the water was coming
through the bedroom light fitting.
What a day, the poor fella was so annoyed but what can
you do about the weather.
He had the roof well covered but the amount of rain was
just too much for it.
Fingers crossed it gets finished today.

Hot colours tag 2

It's the second week of my
HOT COLOURS theme over at

For this tag I used my inks and a wet broad brush
to create watercolour stripes in red and yellow.
I used artistically inked stamp set for the tag.
The flowers was stamped in poppy parade and the leaves
in daffodil delight. I layered it up in the centre of the tag
and added a sentiment.
It was finished with a punched out bow and a brad.

Hope you find some time to join in this week.

I am finally seeing some light at the end of the tunnel.
Energy levels are picking up and I have been able to go out
for some short walks.
Hopefully back to normal service soon lol.
Why does everything take so much longer to improve
when we get older!!

Summer flowers!

Our new challenge for July theme over at
anything stamped with the option of summer flowers!

Of course, as always, there are some fabulous prizes so worth
getting your stamped projects in!

Two prizes, £25 store voucher from Crafty Individuals and
two dies from Highlight Crafts

So I went with the theme and made some summer flowers
using a stamp set Artistically Inked which used to scare
but is now my favourite!
I used some ink blending brushes to create a background on
the flat of my card. Having stamped out lots of flowers, hand
cut round them and laid them out so I would know where I
needed to blend in the background.
I then stamped some leaves flat onto the card as well
and stamped and cut some out for added extras.
The flowers were stuck in place I then decided it needed
some little flowers and dots stamped here and there.
I finished with a stamped sentiment placed across the front
and some little gems.

I hope you get time to join us this month!!
