  Hello all,

phpBB Modders is now the new home for Rich McGirr's extensions. Rich has transferred the repos to our account and we are grateful for allowing us to continue his excellent work.

Over the coming weeks, we will be working on updating these extensions for current phpBB and PHP versions.

If you are reading this, then we are back and on the new server!

Switchover actually was fairly straightforward because of all the prep work done. If you happen to notice something, please let me know.

• phpBB Modders is moving! Posted: Sun Apr 05, 2026 2:26 pm by Kailey

  Hello everyone,

I've recently purchased a more powerful server to retire the current one we sit on. This requires a move, but due to DNS propagation, the site will be inaccessible once the move is started. I do not have a date/time yet, as I'm still resolving a few minor issues. I'll post an update and provide ample time for awareness.

  Old server:
  CentOS 7, 64-bit
  4 cores
  4 GB RAM
  100 GB HDD

  New server:
  AlmaLinux 9, 64-bit
  8 cores
  32 GB RAM
  640 GB SSD

• Welcome to phpBB Modders Posted: Sat May 18, 2024 4:11 am by Kailey

Welcome to phpBB Modders - the home for modding communities.

Here at phpBB Modders, we strive to provide the phpBB community with extensions to enhance the user experience. It's important to note that the term "modders" isn't synonymous with the old mod vs. hack debate of the past. We focus on creating extensions that modify and improve the way phpBB works. You can also request extensions that you would like to see developed.

Please be advised that we are not sponsored, endorsed, or in any way affiliated with phpBB.

Should you have any questions, please reach out to an Administrator.
