Open question:
How do we handle the other link suggestions? Do we remove them from the task queue? Do we consider surfacing them as a "post edit" suggestion? As a mid-edit suggestion?

I adjusted the title slightly to make it clear that we don't expect to have link suggestions for ALL articles. That's probably not a scalable approach, and there are many articles that are edit protected and newcomers should avoid. But ideally we are able to explore ways to populate more "add a link" suggestions.

I don't think we should aim to make any changes to the design before the new year, but I will see if we can complete this associated task ASAP:

Oh good point. Hmmm. That might be challenging with the English Wikipedia's release of Add a Link ongoing: T377631: Add a link (Structured task): Release to a subset of newcomers on English Wikipedia. Perhaps we can consider stopping that experiment for a period in January.
