I'd kind of prefer if we could let wget's exit code get propagated and fail the task, but that'd be a larger refactor so this seems like a reasonable way to go.

jcristau added a comment to D280627: Bug 2012735 - port generate-checksums script to boto3 r=#releng.

In the try push, run 0 first downloaded boto3 1.42.35, then saw it required s3transfer (<0.17.0,>=0.16.0), which wasn't available, so it fell back to the older boto3-1.4.7 and botocore-1.7.7. That version of botocore is incompatible with python 3.11 and the run failed.
Then I uploaded s3transfer 0.16.0, reran the task, and that successfully ran with boto3 and botocore 1.42.35.
