BatesKit adds continuous Bates numbers across PDFs in your browser, with optional confidentiality legends and exhibit labels. Export numbered PDFs, download a manifest CSV with source/output filenames, page counts, Bates ranges and SHA-256 output hashes, and optionally write DAT and OPT load files. The DAT file is a minimal pipe-delimited document inventory. OPT has one row per numbered page and references multi-page PDFs; it does not create single-page TIFF images. Confirm the receiving platform's import requirements with the real sample before using a production set. Read-only metadata, redaction, content and production checks flag potential issues for human review. Index reconciliation compares an imported CSV with assigned Bates ranges. These checks do not certify redaction safety or replace a person's delivery review. Free for up to 20 files and 60 total pages per batch, with every feature enabled. A $19 USD one-time licence removes those quantity limits; browser memory and PDF compatibility still apply. PDF processing runs on your device.
