Whatever Wednesday

Happy Wednesday Everyone!!  Today is Whatever Wednesday over on My Creative Time blog. 
Today I made this Easter Bag to give to the Teachers.  I found these cute little Kraft bags as a set at Target and then cut a "window" to show the chocolate eggs!!  These bags are only 5x4 but they are actually a little bigger once opened as I used a whole bag of chocolate eggs and I'm going to need more to fill the bag up!!  I think too my kids have been helping themselves or perhaps the cat ~ lol!!

How to cut out a "window":

I used the "insert" part of the Surprise Pop-Out Card die.

 I used washi tape to "hold" the die to the inside of the bag where I want the "window" to be.

 Ran the bag with die through my die cut machine ~ the "cut" surface was face up.

 And viola, you have a "cut-out" in the bag!!

Hope this has inspired you to add a "window" into your projects!!


Another project I've been working on is adding to my wood banner frame ~ made an Easter banner set.  Love the dies that really add so much to an Easter Scene!!

Easter Cards

Here is a look at the Easter Cards Kit I designed.

Used an action wobbler for the first time on this bunny egg card ~ love the "action" of it!! Isn't he adorable!!

  Also created a tri-fold card for a different card base design ~ need to do this more often ~ lol!!

 Inside first flap ~ used mini velcro circles to keep flap shut.

Created this bunny shape card from my Cameo with just a "mirror" effect ~ can change any shape into a card!!  The pom pom on the tail really made the card "HOP"!!

Sneak Peek....

Here's a little sneak peek at a new class that will be in store tomorrow!  I designed the frame and had my husband make it. I wanted to do something different this year and thought about a project that could change with the seasons or special occasions.  This frame is perfect to display "banners".  I will design a "banner" kit for holidays/occasions which can be added to the frame or you could even use ribbon to display the banners if not wanting the frame.  Check it out in store for a better view!!

Candy Cane Elf

I designed this Candy Cane Elf to make with my kids in their classrooms this week.  The teachers are thrilled with it and my kids are getting excited to make it!  I must say he did turn out pretty darn cute!  I decided to share my design and am providing Class Kits to Go of this little guy in store.  Since he kinda looks like our Elf on the Shelf, I suspect these kits to "fly of the shelf" - lol!!
